The casts of How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory hit the carpet at the 2013 CBS Upfront Presentation held at the Tents at Lincoln Center on Wednesday (May 15) in New York City.

Representing the cast of How I Met Your Mother were the main five cast members – Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segal, Cobie Smulders, and Josh Radnor.

In attendance from The Big Bang Theory were Johnny Galecki, Kunal Nayyar, and Melissa Rauch.

Ian Somerhalder and his ex-girlfriend and Vampire Diaries co-star Nina Dobrev hit up the CW Upfronts party held at FINALE on Thursday (May 16) in New York City.

The 34-year-old actor and 24-year-old actress were joined at the event by their fellow network stars including Hart of Dixie‘s Jaime King, Arrow‘s Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Katie Cassidy, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, and Susanna Thompson, The Carrie Diaries‘ AnnaSophia Robb and Austin Butler, Beauty and the Beast‘s Kristin Kreuk, Reign‘s Adelaide Kane and The Tomorrow People‘s Robbie Amell, CW president Mark Pedowitz, and more.

Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen hit the blue carpet at the 2013 USA Upfront Presentation on Thursday (May 16) at Pier 36 in New York City.

The ladies were joined by their Modern Family co-stars Eric Stonestreet, Ty Burrell, Ariel Winter, Nolan Gould, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmens to present their show, which will air in syndication on USA.

Also pictured: Jesse Tyler Ferguson on the cover of The Advocate‘s Summer of Love issue.

“I feel like there are a lot of people who still aren’t comfortable with gay characters on television,” Jesse shared with the mag. “But what I admire about our show is that it has a plethora of characters for people to attach to, and slowly those people are becoming attached to Mitchell and Cameron as well. It’s kind of like a Trojan horse. We sneak into a lot of people’s living rooms when they aren’t expecting it and maybe change some minds through the back door.”

Matt Bomer and Aaron Tveit suit up while walking the blue carpet at the 2013 USA Upfront Presentation on Thursday (May 16) at Pier 36 in New York City.

The guys were joined at the event by Matt‘s White Collar co-star Tiffani Thiesson as well as talent from other USA shows.

Covert Affairs stars Piper Perabo and Christopher Gorham, as well as Necessary Roughness‘ Mehcad Brooks and John Stamos were in attendance at the event.

Aaron will be starring in the new series Graceland, premiering on June 6.

Robbie Amell hits the black carpet at the 2013 CW Upfront Presentation held at the London Hotel on Thursday (May 16) in New York City.

The 25-year-old actor was joined by his Tomorrow People castmates Peyton List, Luke Mitchell, and Aaron Yoo at the event.

The cast of Star-Crossed – Matt Lanter (with fiancee Angela Stacy), Aimee Teegarden, and Natalie Hall – were in attendance to present their new show, debuting in a mid-season slot.

“There are [a lot of special effects]. It’s pretty cool. It takes place ten years in the future. It’s like 2024 and lots of special effects, which might have to do with some super powers possibly,” Matt told JustJared.com about his new series.

The stars of The Originals – Daniel Gillies, Joseph Morgan, Phoebe Tonkin, Claire Holt, Danielle Pineda, and Charles Michael Davis – hit the black carpet, as well as Nikita actress Maggie Q.

AnnaSophia Robb and Austin Butler hit the black carpet at the 2013 CW Upfront Presentation held at the London Hotel on Thursday (May 16) in New York City.

The actors were joined by their Carrie Diaries co-star Brendan Dooling at the event to present the network’s 2013-14 schedule to advertisers.

Beauty and the Beast stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan were also in attendance at the event.

“I was shocked when I read the script. It was shocking. And I was sad by it. But humans make mistakes and he’s human. From my point of view, if that happened to me, I don’t know how I could forgive someone. But at the same time when you’re young and it’s first love, it’s so tumultuous because you never think you can survive without that person,” Austin told JustJared.com on the red carpet about [SPOILER ALERT] his character Sebastian cheating on Carrie with her best friend Maggie.

Stephen Amell and Colton Haynes suit up for The CW Network’s New York 2013 Upfront Presentation held at The London Hotel on Thursday (May 16) in New York City.

The Arrow co-stars were joined for the presentation by their co-stars Willa Holland, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, and Susanna Thompson.

“Every once in a while you have to do something like that so people know there’s real jeopardy on the line and that something isn’t always going to happen at the 11th hour to save the day,” Stephen told JustJared.com about last night’s finale regarding the SPOILER ALERT death of Tommy (Colin Donnell). “I hated everything about it from a personal standpoint, but from a purely professional storytelling standpoint, I was like, ‘Wow’ because the second season is shaped by these events.”
