If you kept the 2014 Teen Choice Awards on throughout the credits at the end of the show, you may have noticed the fine print that basically said the show was rigged. Check it out below:
- Winners for the Teen Choice Awards are determined using the votes cast on Teenchoiceawards.com. Votes are tabulated electronically and winners are determined based on the nominees in each category with the highest number of eligible votes. Teenasaurus Rox reserves the right to choose the winner from the top four vote getters. The Olay Fresh Effects Breakout Star Award and Ultimate Choice Award were both chosen by Teenasaurus Rox.
Well, a bunch of fans noticed and were so angry that they started a hashtag on Twitter: #TeensDontHaveaChoiceAwards,
The news seemed to spread even further around online after a bunch of the talent nominated for the web awards, including Cameron Dallas and Matthew Espinosa, tweeted about it as well. All of them ended up deleting their tweets though.
