Katie Couric and Diane Sawyer make newsworthy entrances at the 2014 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (May 3) in Washington, D.C.

The longtime news reporters were joined by The Today Show anchors Matt Lauer, Savannah Guthrie, and Al Roker.

“Ready for the prom! #WHCD,” Katie tweeted before the event, along with a photo of herself all dolled up.

Anna Kendrick is a beauty in blue as she attends the 2014 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner held at the Washington Hilton on Saturday (May 3) in Washington, D.C.

The 28-year-old actress was joined at the annual event by actors Emile Hirsch and Mae Whitman, the latter of whom she posed with for some photos.

The 48-year-old Nashville actor was joined on the red carpet by his co-star Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who brought her husband Brad Paisley as her date.

The 29-year-old ski racer was joined by football players Tim Tebow, Tony Romo, and Cam Newton.

The 35-year-old Glee actor was joined by Jonathan Groff and JC Chasez.

The 27-year-old Glee actor was joined on the red carpet by Jeremy Irvine and Will Poulter.
