Elle King goofs off with Dierks Bentley on the red carpet at the 2016 CMT Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 26-year-old “Ex’s & Oh’s” singer and the 40-year-old country artist teamed up for a performance at the awards event.

Dierks released “Different For Girls,” his duet with Elle, late in May.

During their rehearsals the day before, Elle joked with CMT that there would only be a wardrobe malfunction on stage if “everything went right.”

Elle and Dierks were joined at the event that night by Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney of music duo Dan and Shay.

Carrie Underwood looks lovely in black lace while singing her heart out at the 2016 CMT Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 33-year-old songstress performed her track “Church Bells,” which you can watch below!

Carrie changed up her outfit a couple times and was seen in a shorter beige number while accepting an award.

She won both Female Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year for her hit single “Smoke Break.”

Earlier in the night, Carrie hit the red carpet with her hubby Mike Fisher.

FYI: Carrie is wearing a Gemy Maalouf top and pants, an Augustin Teboul cape, a Diana Couture skirt, Schutz shoes, and Marianna Harutunian jewelry for the performance. Her other look is an Elie Madi dress, Rene Caovilla shoes, and H. Stern jewelry.

It was a great night of amazing performances and a celebration of country music at the 2016 CMT Awards held at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

Carrie Underwood won big, taking home Female Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year for her hit single “Smoke Break.”

Meanwhile, Little Big Town proved successful in the Group/Duo Video category with their catchy track “Girl Crush.”

Unsurprisingly, CMT Social Superstar went to Blake Shelton.

Blake Shelton rocks a denim jacket while performing on stage at the 2016 CMT Awards at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

The 39-year-old singer sang his track “Doing It To Country Songs,” off his album If I’m Honest, alongside The Oak Ridge Boys.

J.J. Watt joins Erin Andrews on the red carpet at the 2016 CMT Awards at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (June 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

The NFL football pro and the DWTS correspondent teamed up to host this year’s awards event, and joked together onstage.

The 43-year-old singer and producer is set to hit the stage with the group – Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, Jimi Westbrook, and Phillip Sweet – during the show.
