Tim Tebow Visits Former Teammate Injured in Orlando Shooting

Tim Tebow went to the hospital to visit his former high school football teammate Rodney Sumter, who was injured in the horrible Orlando Pulse shooting earlier this month.

Both played football together at Allen D. Nease High School.

“My high school quarterback left the Bahamas to come and see me. Tebow has always been an awesome person,” Rodney captioned a photo on his Instagram account of the pair in his hospital room.

Rodney went on to play football at Jacksonville University, and he was a bartender at Pulse, the nightclub where the shooting occurred. According to Rodney‘s Instagram, he is also a model, personal trainer, dancer, and a dad. We are sending our thoughts to Rodney and all of those effected by the Orlando shooting.

Frank Ocean Reflects On Orlando Tragedy With Personal Tumblr Post - Read Here!

Frank Ocean has posted a letter onto his Tumblr in the wake of the tragic shooting that cost 49 people their lives and countless others injury at Orlando’s Pulse gay nightclub.

Here’s what the 28-year-old singer-songwriter had to say:

“I read in the paper that my brothers are being thrown from rooftops blindfolded with their hands tied behind their backs for violating sharia law. I heard the crowds stone these fallen men if they move after they hit the ground. I heard it’s in the name of God. I heard my pastor speak for God too, quoting scripture from his book. Words like abomination popped off my skin like hot grease as he went on to describe a lake of fire that God wanted me in. I heard on the news that the aftermath of a hate crime left piles of bodies on a dance floor this month. I heard the gunman feigned dead among all the people he killed. I heard the news say he was one of us.”
