Asia Argento did not hold back while presenting the Best Actress prize at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday evening (May 19) at the Palais’ Lumière theater in Cannes, France.

Asia spoke out alongside jury member Ava DuVernay at the ceremony.

“I was raped by Harvey Weinstein in Cannes in 1997. I was 21-years-old. This festival was his hunting ground. I’m going to make a prediction: Harvey Weinstein will never be welcomed here again. He will never disgrace the community that once embraced him and covered up for his crimes,” she told the crowd.

“Even tonight there are those that still need to be held accountable for his behavior. You do not belong in this industry. You know who you are. We are not going to allow you to get away with it any longer.”

Asia was among some of the first women to come forward with allegations of rape against the producer last year, which set off massive global movements about sexual harassment and gender inequality in Hollywood and beyond.

Harvey has denied the assault via spokesperson.

The ladies walked the red carpet that evening with fellow jury members Denis Villeneuve, Chang Chen, Khadja Nin, Andrey Zvyagintsev, and Robert Guediguian. They all held hands while walking together as one unit!

The festival is ending tonight after a week and a half of glamorous red carpet events.

Before taking the trip to France, Martha was in New York City and she joined fellow Victoria’s Secret angel Jasmine Tookes to celebrate Rosa Cha‘s spring/summer 2018 launch. They both wore the brand at the event.

Some of the other members of the Suits cast appeared on The Today Show this morning to talk about their co-star Meghan Markle‘s upcoming wedding to Prince Harry. They will all be in attendance!

Vanessa Paradis keeps it bright in a blue dress while attending the photo call for her latest film Knife + Heart (Un Couteau Dans Le Coeur) held during the 2018 Cannes Film Festival at Palais des Festivals on Friday (May 18) in Cannes, France.

The 45-year-old model-actress was joined at the event by her co-stars Nicolas Maury, Kate Moran, Khaled Alouach and Jonathan Genet, as well as writer Cristiano Mangione and director Yann Gonzalez.

In Knife + Hearet, Vanessa plays a gay-porn producer in 1979 Paris who is trying to win back her ex-girlfriend even as a masked serial killer stalks and slays the actors who star in her blue films.

The 28-year-old actress is one of the jury members this year at the festival and she has been attending a bunch of the film premieres for the past week and a half.

This is definitely Kristen‘s edgiest look of the festival and she looks so chic in the outfit. She also decided to wear Sarah Flint loafers, despite the rule for women to wear heels on the carpet at the festival.

Earlier in the night, Kristen attended the amfAR gala in a more conservative look.
