Brad Pitt picked up an award at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards, but he wasn’t there so Quentin Tarantino accepted on his behalf!
The director went up on stage and gave a speech at the event on Sunday (January 12) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Brad won the award for Best Supporting Actor award for his work in the movie Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Quentin tried to get young actress Julia Butters to accept the award, but she was too shy to get up, so he ran up on stage instead!

Michelle Williams has added another award to her collection for her work in Fosse/Verdon.
The 39-year-old actress won the award for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 12) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Michelle wasn’t at the event, so presenters Bradley Whitford and Sara Gilbert had to accept the award on her behalf.
Bradley joked that Michelle “didn’t care enough” to attend the event and accept the award herself.
Last weekend, Michelle won the same award at the Golden Globes and she made a powerful speech about women’s rights.

The Netflix show took home the award for Best Limited Series at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 12) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

Jessie Buckley walks the red carpet at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 12) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 30-year-old Irish actress stars in the movie Wild Rose and she performs the song “Glasgow” in the film.
“Glasgow,” which was written by actress Mary Steenburgen, tied for the win for Best Original Song with Rocketman‘s “I’m Gonna Love Me Again,” written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin.
Jessie also starred in the HBO series Chernobyl, which was nominated for Best Limited Series. You can see her in the new movie Dolittle, which hits theaters next week.

Christopher Abbott and Noah Wyle look sharp at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards!
The 33-year-old Catch‑22 actor and the 48-year-old The Red Line star attended the event held on Sunday (January 12) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.
Both men are nominated for Best Actor in a Limited Series or Movie Made for Television for their work on the respective shows.
They were joined by fellow nominee Jared Harris (Chernobyl).
Also in attendance was Best Actor in a Comedy Series nominee Walton Goggins (The Unicorn), as well as Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series nominees Henry Winkler and Anthony Carrigan (Barry), and Nico Santos (Superstore) with his co-star Lauren Ash.

Nick Kroll absolutely roasted the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards on Sunday (January 12) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. Why? For having the awards show air on The CW, which airs a ton of teen-centric shows.
“The irony…just show no respect to [Al] Pacino, [Harvey] Keitel, and [Robert] De Niro. I can’t believe this is an award show on The CW. I’m wondering what the average CW horny tween viewer who’s watching right now and expecting to polish their pearl to the cast of Riverdale or a misunderstood hunky superhero…” Nick said live on stage before getting bleeped out.
“Instead, they see this face,” he said, pointing to himself. Nick then went on to present the Best Talk Show award to both James Corden and Seth Meyers in a tie.
