Jane Fonda took a pretty dramatic step to make sure that director Justine Triet didn’t forget her Palm d’Or award at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.

On Saturday (May 27), the 85-year-old screen icon presented the Anatomy of a Fall director with her award during a ceremony.

However, Justine left it behind while she was rushing to celebrate with the rest of her squad. Jane attempted to get her attention, but she hauled back and tossed it at the director when she was unsuccessful.

The hilarious moment was caught on camera.

The stars are stepping out for the premiere of Disney & Pixar’s new movie!

Eva Longoria, Orlando Bloom, and Jane Fonda hit the red carpet at the Elemental premiere held during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 27) held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

Elemental is an all-new, original feature film set in Element City, where Fire-, Water-, Earth- and Air-residents live together.

The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.

Andie MacDowell was having the best time on the red carpet at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival!

The star of Hallmark Channel’s The Way Home walked the red carpet in a classic black dress and wavy curls, attending the premiere of The Old Oak on Friday afternoon (May 26) in Cannes, France.

Just the day before, Andie stepped out in a rust colored dress, with her grey hair swept up into an updo for the premiere of L’Ete Dernier (Last Summer).

Andie‘s latest appearances with her grey hair are just as gorgeous, if not more so, than her first appearance with her grey hair back in 2021.

At the time, Andie opened up about deciding not to continue dying her hair and the pushback she got.

“During lockdown, I had a lot of downtime and became obsessed with Jack Martin, who did Jane Fonda’s hair. I shared those pictures with a lot of people going, ‘Hey, I want to do this,’” she said then. “I said, ‘I think you’re wrong, and I’m going to be more powerful if I embrace where I am right now…If I don’t do it now, I won’t have the chance to be salt and pepper. I always wanted to be salt and pepper!’”

After her grey hair debut in 2021, Andie returned in 2022 with even more salt to the pepper in her locks.

Eva Longoria wows in a stunning sheer gown while on the red carpet during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Friday (May 26) in Cannes, France.

The 48-year-old actress and director posed on the “The Old Oak” red carpet at the Palais des Festivals wearing a nude dress that was embroidered with so many sparkling beads and gems. It featured an intricate back, totally sheer skirt, train and cut-outs on the side that nipped in at her waist.

She wore her hair in an elegant updo and paired the dress with glittery eye makeup.

Her red carpet appearance comes a few days after she called out a double standard in Hollywood.

Someone paid a LOT of money for a painting of Leonardo DiCaprio during a live auction at a Cannes Film Festival charity event!

The 48-year-old Oscar-winning actor was in attendance to watch his portrait sell for $1.3 million during the auction at the 2023 amfAR Cannes Gala at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Thursday (May 25) in Cap d-Antibes, France.

Leo skipped the red carpet and wore a baseball cap inside the black-tie event to keep a low profile. He was joined by his mom Irmelin, who looked stunning in a ywllow dress.

During the live auction, a painting by Damien Hirst was auctioned off. The famous artist had been comissioned to do a painting of Leo and it was sold to a private collector, who then donated it to amfAR, according to Variety.

Orlando Bloom is stepping out to promote his new movie at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival!

The 46-year-old actor joined co-stars Geri Halliwell, Archie Madekwe, and Maximilian Mundt at the Gran Turismo photocall held on Friday (May 26) held at the Carlton Beach Club in Cannes, France.

Director Neill Blomkamp was also in attendance.

Brie Larson is continuing to bring out the stops with her fashion game at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival!

The 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress wore a two-piece outfit on the red carpet for the premiere of Perfect Days on Thursday (May 25) in Cannes, France.

Brie is a member of the festival jury this year and has already made several appearances at various events.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Brie talked about picking out her outfit and jewelry. She said, “We wanted something beautiful but slightly more daytime and easy… I loved the choker—we put the focus on that as it suits the feel of the look.”

FYI: Brie is wearing Chanel.
