Salma Hayek Pinault is taking over TIFF!

The 57-year-old actress stunned in a gorgeous, sleek white dress for the El Sabor de la Navidad premiere and party, held during the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival at Royal Alexandra Theatre on Wednesday (September 13) in Toronto, Ontario.

Salma joined her Ventanarosa Productions producing partner Jose Tamez, director Alejandro Lorenzo, executive producers Billy Rovzar, Fernando Rovzar, and Jennevie Olivieri-López for the events.

The movie will have three parallel stories revolving around Mexico City’s Christmas celebrations: The first centers on an estranged daughter seeks reconciliation with her family, and in the second, two friends put their friendship to the test when they start working as competing Santa Clauses in Alameda Central Park.

In the third, a lonely chef that cooks Christmas dinners for other families confronts her feelings for her kitchen assistant.

El Sabor de la Navidad is the second movie under Salma’s company and TelevisaUnivision , and will be available on ViX in November.

Just the night before, Salma joined husband Francois-Henri Pinault for Kering’s Caring for Women dinner during NYFW.

Jessica Chastain is continuing the press tour for new movie!

The 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress joined co-star Peter Sarsgaard at the latest premiere of their new movie Memory held during the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September 12) at the Royal Alexandra Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

For the premiere, Jessica wore a sparkling black dress while Peter, 52, wore a dark navy suit.

Jessica and Peter were also joined at the premiere by the movie’s director Michel Franco.

Nothing was going to stop Ethan Hawke from being at the TIFF premiere of his new movie Wildcat, not even an incoming hurricane!

The 52-year-old actor, who wrote and directed the new movie Wildcat, walked the red carpet with his daughter Maya Hawke at the premiere on Monday night (September 11) in Tornto, Canada.

Maya stars in the movie and they were joined at the event by co-stars Laura Linney, Philip Ettinger, Rafael Casal, Christine Dye, and Willa Fitzgerald.

While on the red carpet, Maya revealed that Ethan took a bus from New York City all the way to Toronto after flights were canceled because of the weather.

The stars stepped out for the 2023 TIFF Tribute Gala & Awards during the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend!

Camila Morrone, Patricia Arquette, Willem Dafoe, Spike Lee, Taika Waititi and Shawn Levy were among the attendees, alongside Pedro Almodovar, Ethan Hawke, Ryan Hawke, Viggo Mortensen, Vicky Krieps, and Devery Jacobs.

Pedro was honored at the event with the Jeff Skoll Award in Impact Media, Patricia picked up the Share Her Journey Groundbreaker Award, and Shawn with the Norman Jewison Award.

In addition, Spike was awarded the Ebert Director Award and Vicky was the recipient of the TIFF Tribute Performer Award.

The awards, and gala dinner served as a fundraiser for the festival’s philanthropic efforts.

Colman Domingo shows off his award following the TIFF Tribute Gala during the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend.

The 53-year-old was just one of the many honorees at the event, which was held at The Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario.

Earlier that same day, Colman was spotted at the premiere of his new movie, Sing Sing.

While Colman was promoting that movie, many critics are praising his performance in another recent move of his, Rustin, and predicting a Best Actor nomination at the Oscars.

“He is fully loaded with charisma, passion and an emotional core that allows viewers to feel like they’ve just witnessed the man in the flesh,” THR wrote about Colman‘s performance in the flick.

Rustin centers on “Bayard Rustin, an advisor to Martin Luther King Jr., who dedicated his life to the quest for racial equality, human rights and worldwide democracy. However, as an openly gay Black man, he is all but erased from the civil rights movement he helped build.”

Taika Waititi just attended the premiere of his new movie Next Goals Wins without the cast due to the strikes in Hollywood.

The 48-year-old Oscar-winning filmmaker walked the red carpet at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival premiere on Sunday (September 10) at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, Canada.

Taika‘s wife Rita Ora was not there and she was spotted that evening in New York City. Check out photos in the gallery!

Taika not only wrote and directed the film, he also has a role in the project. Due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, he was only there to promote his work as the director.

Next Goal Wins did not receive an interim agreement from the guilds like other films have as its being released by Searchlight Pictures, a studio owned by Disney.
