Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World are reminding us that love is a constant cycle of ups and downs.

The 39-year-old singer and the musical duo (Ian Axel and Chad King) released their new music video for “Fall on Me” on Tuesday (February 11).

“To us, ‘Fall On Me’ is a search for connection and love,” A Great Big World said. “It’s about surrendering to something bigger than oneself and trusting that the answers we seek will reveal themselves in time.”

The video was directed by Se Oh and filmed in Los Angeles.

“The life cycle of a tree was a metaphor that came to mind when listening to ‘Fall On Me’ for the first time,” Se added. “We as humans go through so many changes and reinventions throughout a lifetime. Finding love is a journey we all take, and just as a tree changes throughout a year, love is a cycle of highs and lows, of loss and rebirth. I wanted to create a visual that conveyed this idea.”

“Fall on me with open arms,” they sing. “Fall on me from where you are.”

The trio also collaborated on 2013’s “Say Something.”

Christina Aguilera and A Great Big World are performing their new song live for the first time!

The artists took to the stage to perform “Fall On Me” during the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

“Fall On Me” is the second single Christina and A Great Big World have released together. They collaborated on the 2013 hit “Say Something.”

A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera are teaming up again!

After collaborating on their smash hit “Say Something,” the duo and the Bionic powerhouse performer released their new collaboration, “Fall On Me,” on Friday (November 22).

“I’m so excited to announce a new collaboration with my dear friends @agreatbigworld. It’s called #FallOnMe and it’s releasing this Friday. We’ll be performing it live on the @AMAs this Sunday, the 24th on @abcnetwork. Can’t wait for you to hear it! 🖤” Christina wrote before the song’s release on her Instagram.

“Moving forward, being present, finding peace. ✨ #FallOnMe,” she added.

Christina Aguilera‘s Liberation Tour just keeps getting better!

The 37-year-old Lotus pop icon brought her concert to Radio City Music Hall on Wednesday night (October 3) in New York City.

During the show, which included performances of tracks like “Accelerate,” “Genie in a Bottle” and “Dirrty,” Lil Kim surprised the crowd with a rendition of their classic Moulin Rouge smash “Lady Marmalade.”

Later on, A Great Big World joined Christina for “Say Something.”

Bill and Hillary Clinton were also in attendance at the star-studded show.

“It’s sort of a big coming out song for me,” lead singer Chad King expressed about changing “her” to a “him” in the song (via Billboard). “I was like, ‘I can’t do this, no one does this, it doesn’t feel comfortable, there’s no way I can do this. And I thought about it for like two seconds and said, ‘I have to do this.’ This is my truth, people will respond to that. I know they will and I hope it inspires other people to sing about their own truth or or speak about their own, you know?”

A Great Big World‘s “This Is The New Year” is the perfect song to get us ready for 2015 and it is this week’s pick for the JustJared.com and KIIS-FM 102.7‘s JJ Music Monday!

Though the song was released a year ago, the duo’s song is about to hit radio at just the right time!

In case you didn’t know, the song was performed by the cast of Glee in an episode of last year, which helped the duo score a record contract with Epic Records.

Darren Criss bows down to his former Glee co-star Kristin Chenoweth while presenting her with an award at Logo TV’s 2014 NewNowNext Awards held at the Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel on Tuesday (December 2) in Miami Beach, Fla.

The Tony and Emmy-winning actress was presented the New Now Next Forever Award after performing the song “Maybe This Time” from Cabaret.

Other stars at the show included Jessie J, who performed her song “Burnin’ Up,” celebrity DJ Joe Jonas, Orange Is the New Black‘s Danielle Brooks and Lorraine Toussaint (winner of Best New Television Actress), Looking‘s Raul Castillo and Frankie Alvarez, Awkward‘s Molly Tarlov, and Faking It‘s Katie Stevens and Michael J. Willett.
