Tom Hiddleston is all smiles while attending an autograph signing for his upcoming flick Thor: The Dark World during 2013 Comic-Con on Sunday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

The 32-year-old actor was joined by the film’s director Alan Taylor.

The day before, Tom dressed up as his character Loki at the Thor: The Dark World panel.

“I feel like we are really playing dice with this one. There are whole new games that he plays. I know I always say it, but Loki, as the god of mischief, his reason for being is to stand at this liminal point between order and chaos,” Tom shared to MTV about Loki. Watch the video below!

Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor has been chosen as the director for the upcoming sequel to this summer’s blockbuster superhero flick, Thor.

Taylor‘s hiring comes just weeks after the departure of Patty Jenkins (Monster) from the project, which infuriated star Natalie Portman, who was excited to work with the director. Jenkins would have been the first female director of a major superhero movie.

Alan beat out fellow Games of Thrones helmer Daniel Minahan for the lucrative job, according to THR.

Thor 2 is expected to hit theaters in November 2013.
