Free Solo star Alex Honnold just helped save the life of another climber!

The 34-year-old freeclimbing legend jumped into action when Emily Harrington fell from a famous rock formation on Sunday (November 24) in Yosemite National Park in California.

Emily, a 5-time sport climbing champ, lost her grip and fell from the 3,200-foot rock formation El Capitan.

“I had an accident yesterday on El Cap. I’m banged up but gonna be ok thankfully. Not much to say except I took a bad fall and pin balled a bit then somehow hit the rope w my neck,” Emily explained on her Instagram.

Following the fall, Alex assisted in stabilizing her while emergency personnel arrived.

Emily is expected to resume her climbing career.

There’s a connection between Jason Momoa and the award he presented at the 2019 Academy Awards on Sunday (February 24) at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The 39-year-old actor, along with Oscar winner Helen Mirren, presented the award for Best Documentary Feature to the movie Free Solo.

The movie follows free solo climber Alex Honnold climbing El Capitan at Yosemite National Park and Jason is actually one of his friends!

Hugh Jackman suits up for a screening of National Geographic Documentary Films’ Free Solo!

The 50-year-old The Greatest Showman actor hosted the event held at the Walter Reade Theater on Wednesday (December 5) in New York City.

He was joined by his The Front Runner co-star J. K. Simmons.

Also in attendance were climber/director Jimmy Chin, director Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, and climber Alex Honnold.

Free Solo follows Alex as he becomes the first person to ever free solo climb Yosemite’s 3,000ft high El Capitan Wall. With no ropes or safety gear, he completed arguably the greatest feat in rock climbing history.
