Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan are together again!

The Oscar-winning Everything Everywhere All at Once stars will be starring in the new Disney+ series American Born Chinese alongside Ben Wang, Yeo Yann Yann, Chin Han, Daniel Wu, Jim Liu, and Sydney Taylor.

Here’s the show’s synopsis: “Based on the graphic novel of the same name by Gene Luen Yang, American Born Chinese chronicles the trials and tribulations of a regular American teenager whose life is forever changed when he befriends the son of a mythological god. This is the story of a young man’s battle for his own identity, told through family, comedy, and action-packed Kung-Fu.”

Michelle Yeoh is heading to Disney+ for the streamer’s new series American Born Chinese.

Fresh off her win at the 2023 Golden Globes earlier this week, we’re getting a look at the 60-year-old Everything Everywhere All at Once actress in character in first look pics for her new role.

The series has been in the works at Disney+ since late 2021 and has been directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who also directed Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. It pulls inspiration from a graphic novel of the same name by creator Gene Luen Yang.

Michelle plays the character Guanyin in the series, which also stars the likes of Ben Wang, Ke Huy Quan and Daniel Wu.

American Born Chinse will premiere on Disney+ in the spring of 2023. We’ll be sure to let you know once an official premiere date is announced!
