Tyler Cameron is paying tribute to his mom.

The 27-year-old former The Bachelorette contestant took to Instagram on Sunday (May 10) to share honor his late mom Andrea on Mother’s Day.

“Always had my back. Still do. ❤️❤️❤️,” Tyler captioned the below throwback photo from his high school football days.

Andrea passed away in February from a brain aneurysm. She was only 55.

During a recent interview, Tyler said that self-quarantining with his brothers in Florida during the pandemic has helped them deal with their mom’s death.

“Being here with my little brothers and then just being able to stay busy [has helped]. Also, like, being able to connect with the fans and everything like that,” Tyler shared with Us Magazine. “I’m going through things, they’re going through things and after our workouts, we have these calls and those calls are not only great for them, but they’re therapeutic for me too. I really enjoy connecting with them and hearing what they’re going through and sharing what I’m going through.”

Tyler Cameron is in mourning over his mom Andrea‘s sudden passing over the weekend.

The 27-year-old Bachelorette star and his brothers, Ryan and Austin, spoke to the Palm Beach Post about their mom.

“She was super supportive,” Tyler says of his reality show stardom. “But what was so amazing … she was supportive for (season star Hannah Brown) and everyone else who was a part of that show, but she was also supportive to the random fans.”

He added that her death “hurts because there were so many cool things for us to do down the road.”

Earlier this week, Tyler confirmed that his mother had died with a touching message on Instagram.

“Today heaven gained an angel,” the 27-year-old Bachelorette star started in his caption. “We will love and miss our mother dearly. She will live on through us and through those that she has had an impact on.”

Tyler added for his fans, “While we grieve, we ask for two things: First, tell those you love that you love them; and second, please let us take this time to celebrate her life in private. Thank you for all of your love and support. ❤️.”

Just before the weekend, Tyler cancelled his appearance on Good Morning America to be with his mother and family.

The 27-year-old The Bachelorette contestant’s mom died after being rushed to the hospital on Thursday, February 27, Us Weekly reports.

Tyler first revealed something was wrong with his mom after he cancelled his Friday, February 28 appearance on Good Morning America.

“Have to cancel GMA group run tomorrow. Family emergency,” Tyler tweeted on Thursday. “Please pray for my mom and my family.”

Tyler then rushed home to Jupiter, Florida to be with his family.

A source told Us Weekly that Tyler is “utterly devastated” by the death of his mom.

As of right now, the cause of Andrea‘s death has not been revealed.
