This is amazing news for fans of Brooklyn Nine-Nine – the show will officially continue after Fox’s cancellation this week!

Just one day after Fox canceled the beloved show, starring Andy Samberg and Andre Braugher, NBC announced that it has picked up the series for a sixth season.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine will get 13 more episodes thanks to the NBC pickup. It will also bring Andy back home to the network, where he rose to fame on Saturday Night Live.

“Ever since we sold this show to Fox I’ve regretted letting it get away, and it’s high time it came back to its rightful home,” said Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment. “Mike Schur, Dan Goor, and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up. I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!”

Selena Gomez joins Andy Samberg, Kathryn Hahn, and Keegan-Michael Key at the photo call for their new film Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation on Wednesday (April 11) in Culver City, Calif.

The stars all met up and took pictures with each of their characters from the animated film.

The third installment in the animated film series follows the monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It hits theaters July 13th!

The 39-year-old actor talks about watching SNL now that he isn’t a cast member anymore, Charles Barkley being a guest host, and reveals what Charles proposed to Kenan Thompson during a rehearsal.

Andy also talks about wrapping the 5th season of Brooklyn Nine Nine, wearing SILK boxers in middle school, and he reveals that he was once naked in public.

“This is probably TMI, but when you’re in junior high and you’re a dude, you shouldn’t wear silk boxers. They’re way too silky,” Andy said – Watch the full interview below!

The Lonely Island wrote a hilarious song for the 2018 Oscars but it didn’t make it to the show!

The trio – Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer – pitched a song title “Why Not Me” but were told it was “financially and logistically impossible.”

Thankfully, the group is releasing the song away!

The ode to Blockbuster movies as well as critically panned projects would have featured appearances from Chris Hemsworth, Gal Gadot and the clown from Pennywise, among many others.

Andy Samberg brings the fun to the 2018 Independent Spirit Awards!

The 39-year-old SNL alum hit the stage on Saturday afternoon (March 3) dressed as John Bender from The Breakfast Club to beg the actors in attendance not to sell out to the magic of Hollywood.

“Don’t you forget about us, Saoirse don’t leave, don’t put your face upon a bus,” Andy sang to the tune of “Don’t You Forget about Me.” “Timothée Chalamet, if you stay indie, we’ll pronounce it the pretentious way. Jordan and Kumail don’t go and fall for the seductive dancin’ of the studios.”

Andy went on to call out a couple of the actors who traded independent movies for a more glamorous life in Hollywood.

“Back away, Avengers,” Andy sang. “You took ScarJo, you took Favreau — Just ask Robert, can’t live Twilight down down down.”

Amy Poehler hits the red carpet alongside Saru Jayaraman at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 46-year-old actress and the fair wages activist both wore black to the event to show their support for the Time’s Up initiative, which aims to raise awareness about gender inequality, abuse of power and harassment.

Amy was one of several actress who attended the event with a female rights activist. Saru co-founded the Restaurants Opportunities Centers United to influence fair wages and safe workplaces for all restaurant workers.
