A lot of money goes into producing TV shows.

The average broadcast network drama costs $3 million an episode to produce, while cable dramas cost $2 million on average, however, all the shows on this list surpass that by at least 10 million more!

We’ve compiled a list of the most costly television and streaming series per episode, and to our surprise, one series that we thought would be at the top, is actually near the bottom!

Mark Wahlberg has an exciting new movie being released just in time for the holidays and the first trailer was just unveiled online.

The Oscar-nominated actor is starring alongside Michelle Monaghan in the action comedy film The Family Plan, which drops on Apple TV+ on December 15.

Here is the synopsis: “Dan Morgan (Wahlberg) loves his quiet suburban life as a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman. But that’s only half the story. Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, pro-gamer teen son and adorable 10-month-old baby into their minivan and takes off on an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas. Determined to protect his family — while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime — Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity.”

For All Mankind season 4 is coming!

Revolving around an alternate historical timeline in which the United States lost the space race to the Soviet Union, Apple TV+’s For All Mankind implements a near decade-long time jump in between seasons, so there will be some changes as season 4 picks up in the early 2000s.

The new season will see a number of series regulars return, while some former recurring cast members have exited ahead of the fourth season. Additionally, there will be several new additions to the main cast.

For All Mankind‘s season 4 synopsis reads: “Rocketing into the new millennium in the eight years since season three, Happy Valley has rapidly expanded its footprint on Mars by turning former foes into partners. Now 2003, the focus of the space program has turned to the capture and mining of extremely valuable, mineral-rich asteroids that could change the future of both Earth and Mars. But simmering tensions between the residents of the now-sprawling international base threaten to undo everything they are working towards.”

Apple TV+ users will be experiencing a major price hike soon.

The streamer is raising its subscription rate by 43%, or from $6.99 a month to $9.99 a month, one year after the streaming service had its very first price increase from $4.99 a month.

An annual Apple TV+ subscription will now cost $99, versus the previous $69, via TVLine.
