It was just revealed that Jenna Bush Hager tried to set up Harry with her twin sister Barbara many years ago.

Jenna explained that she tried to make the connection while she was interviewing him in 2016, but wearing sunglasses made it difficult, making it feel like there was a “barrier between” them.

“I tried to set him up with my sister and it didn’t work. This is before Meghan, obviously before baby Archie, this is long ago,” Jenna explained on the Today show.

She continued, “I felt like maybe if he could see straight into my eyes…that could have worked if my sunglasses weren’t blocking that match. He said, ‘Let’s talk later.’ But then he got married to Meghan Markle.”

Meanwhile, Barbara tied the knot with screenwriter Craig Coyne last year.

The couple said “I do” on Sunday (October 7) at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine.

“A very short, sweet ceremony” Barbara, 36, told People about the ceremony, which was witnessed by 20 people.

Former President George W. Bush, 72, walked her down the aisle. In attendance were mom Laura Bush, 71, Barbara’s grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, 94, Barbara’s twin sister, Jenna Bush Hager, who was maid-of-honor, and more.

The couple met on a blind date last November.

Lauren Bush and David Lauren are parents of two!

The The 33-year-old niece of former President George W. Bush and 46-year-old son of designer Ralph Lauren welcomed their second son Max Walker on Tuesday (April 21), just two days after the death of her grandma former First Lady Barbara Bush.

“We feel lucky and blessed to introduce our son Max Walker Lauren! He was born yesterday (April 19) at 5:33 am weighing 7lbs 8oz. He is happy and healthy and enjoying his new world!” David wrote on Instagram.

Lauren and David are already parents to 2-year-old son James.

Hollywood and Washington DC are coming together to mourn the loss of former First Lady Barbara Bush.

After it was announced that the 92-year-old First Lady had passed away on Tuesday (April 17), celebrities, politicians, and athletes took to Twitter to send their condolences.

President Trump and wife Melania released a joint statement through the White House saying Barbara “will be long remembered for her strong devotion to her country and family, both to which she served unfailingly well.”

Barbara Bush has died at the age of 92.

The Former First Lady and wife of Former President George H.W. Bush died at her home in Houston, Texas on Tuesday (April 17).

“A former First Lady of the United States of America and relentless proponent of family literacy, Barbara Pierce Bush passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at the age of 92. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, President George H.W. Bush; five children and their spouses; 17 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and her brother, Scott Pierce. She was preceded in death by her second child, Pauline Robinson ‘Robin’ Bush, and her siblings Martha Rafferty and James R. Pierce,” a statement from the Bush family read.

“The official funeral schedule will be announced as soon as is practical,” the statement concluded.

It was revealed over the weekend that Barbara was in failing health and that she had discontinued medical treatment with a focus on comfort care.

Former First Lady of the United States, Barbara Bush, is in failing health and has opted to focus on “comfort care,” rather than treatments for her COPD and congestive heart failure, CNN reports.

“Following a recent series of hospitalizations, and after consulting her family and doctors, Mrs. Bush, now age 92, has decided not to seek additional medical treatment and will instead focus on comfort care. It will not surprise those who know her that Barbara Bush has been a rock in the face of her failing health, worrying not for herself — thanks to her abiding faith — but for others. She is surrounded by a family she adores, and appreciates the many kind messages and especially the prayers she is receiving,” the statement read.

The 92-year-old has been married to former President George H. W. Bush for 73 years. Our thoughts are with the family at this time.
