King Charles and Queen Camilla stepped out together for a black tie dinner event in Paris!

The reigning monarchs of the United Kingdom were hosted by French president Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte Macron, for a state banquet held at the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles on on Wednesday night (September 20).

The quartet were joined by a multitude of celebrities for the banquet, which marked the King and Queen’s first official visit to France in their new reign.

They included Mick Jagger and partner, Melanie Hamrick, as well as Hugh Grant with his wife, Anna Eberstein.

Earlier in the day, the King and Queen met up with Emmanuel and Brigitte at the Arc de Triomphe and visited the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, where Charles then lit the Eternal Flame at the Tomb.

President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife Sophie attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth on Monday (September 19) in London, England.

The couples arrived to the funeral, which was held in Westminster Abbey, wearing all black. Other world leaders including Liz Truss (the current Prime Minister of the United Kingdom) and French President Emanuel Macron were in attendance. Liz was seen with several former prime ministers including Tony Blair and John Major. Former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who Liz replaced, also came to the funeral.

President Biden was photographed paying his respects to the Queen the day before the funeral. He released a lengthy statement honoring the Queen after her death.

In case you missed it, Catherine, Princess of Wales (aka Kate Middleton) wore two special pieces of jewelry to the funeral. She was accompanied by Prince William, Prince of Wale, and her two oldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

Melania Trump is currently in France with her husband Donald Trump for the G7 Summit and there’s a photo going viral.

The Trumps met with other world leaders to kick off the summit on Sunday (August 25) and the President of the United States and the First Lady posed next to Canada’s Justin Trudeau and his wife Brigitte Macron.

Melania could be seen sharing a kiss on the cheek with Justin while her husband looked down with a sour glaze on his face.

The hashtag #MelaniaLovesTrudeau has gone viral and among the funny tweets is one that says, “Looks like even Melania is thinking of an escape plan to Canada.”

Another user joked, “How much longer do we think before the next proposal for a border wall will be between the U.S. and Canada?”

Angelina Jolie happily waves to photographers as she makes her way out of the Meurice hotel on Tuesday morning (January 30) in Paris, France.

The 42-year-old actress headed to the Elysee Palace to meet with French First Lady Brigitte Macron per the request of Angelina herself to discuss Syrian refugees, who she met with during her trip to Jordan on Sunday.

Angelia is also set to discuss refugees on Wednesday as the special envoy of the UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency. She’s expected at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, to once again defend the cause of refugees.

Angelina will meet with its Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg, with whom she will discuss the follow-up to a joint operation between the two agencies to prevent sexual violence and protect women in conflict zones.

The 29-year-old entertainer, who is also a global ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education, was welcomed at the top of the steps of the Elysee Palace, the official residence of the French presidents in Paris, before meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron.

Emmanuel extended an invitation to RiRi to discuss France’s funding of international education after she personally messaged him on Twitter in June: “Bonjour @Emmanuel Macron, will France commit to #FundEducation?,” Rihanna tweeted.

“They were incredibly welcoming, we focused on the topic of education from global aspects,” Rihanna told reporters (via WWD), adding that a “big announcement” will be made in September, followed by “even more work in Africa in October.”

“I was so inspired and impressed with his leadership. I can’t wait to see where this is going to go, but I think this is the year for education,” Rihanna concluded. “Stay tuned.”
