Justine Ndiba and Caleb Corprew have sadly called it quits.
The couple and most recent Love Island winners have decided to go their separate ways after starring on the reality competition series, EOnline reports.
Justine, 27, and Caleb, 22, made history on the program as the first Black couple to win the show, and the $100,000 prize.
“It’s truly a strange feeling to be typing this out but I understand my reality is now having to share some aspects of my life with you all regardless of how private I’d like to remain at times,” Justine shared the news of the breakup to fans on Instagram.
She continued, “This is extremely difficult for me to express, but out of respect for those of you who supported me, and rode for me, I want you to know that Caleb and I are no longer together.”
Caleb also confirmed the split on his Instagram, admitting that since the show ended, it was challenging to maintain their relationship.
“The nature in which we met and fell for each other comes with a unique set of obstacles that nothing in life can ever prepare you for,” he wrote. “We genuinely appreciate those of you who have supported us and thank you in advance to those of you who will continue supporting us as individuals moving forward. It is an unexplainable feeling to give yourself to the world and the world asks for more of you in return.”
