Top 10 Touring Acts of 2023 Revealed, But You Won't Find Taylor Swift on This List - Here's Why

The top touring acts of 2023 brought in so much money while on the road!

Billboard unveiled the data that they compiled throughout the year via Billboard Boxscore. The system tracked how much each artist brought in, how many fans they performed for and how many times they took the stage.

The top-earner grossed $570.5 Million after performing for 2.7 million fans across 55 shows. They blew most of the competition out of the water by a longshot, and the list features some A-list acts.

One artist who was not included despite embarking on a massive tour in 2023 was Taylor Swift. The reason why might surprise you.

Depeche Mode Setlist for 2023 Memento Mori Tour Revealed

Depeche Mode launched their 2023 tour a couple weeks ago and they’ll be on the road for the rest of the year!

The English electronic band, who were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, are currently traveling around the world on their Memento Mori tour.

Lead band members Dave Gahan and Martin Gore are both on the road for the tour. Sadly, one of the band’s founding members passed away last year.

This is the band’s 19th tour and their first in over five years. They are performing 80 dates through the end of the year! Following the limited North American run, the band will embark on a European stadium tour and then they’ll come back to North America in September.

Depeche Mode's Andy Fletcher Has Died at Age 60

Andy Fletcher, one of the founding members of the electronic rock band Depeche Mode, has sadly passed away at the age of 60.

The news was announced on Thursday (May 26) by Andy‘s fellow band members.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2020 Inductees Revealed!

The 2020 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been announced!

The organization announced the names of this year’s inductees on Wednesday (January 15), and the ceremony takes place at the Rock Hall on May 2 at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, Ohio.

Whitney Houston and The Notorious B.I.G. will both be inducted, and were both nominated for the first time this year.

Depeche Mode, the Doobie Brothers, Nine Inch Nails and T. Rex are also being inducted.

Music journalist Jon Landau will also be recognized with the special Ahmet Ertegun Award, honoring those who have had a major influence on rock ‘n’ roll.

Rock Hall inductees are chosen by more than 1,000 artists, historians and members of the music industry. An artist is not eligible for induction until 25 years after the release of their first single, album or EP.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2020 Nominees - Full List Revealed!

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is announcing the 2020 nominees!

The prestigious museum revealed the names of sixteen contenders, including nine first-time nominees, on Tuesday (October 15).

The first-time nominees include Whitney Houston, The Notorious B.I.G., Dave Matthews Band, Pat Benatar, Motörhead, Thin Lizzy, Soundgarden, T. Rex and The Doobie Brothers.

Previously nominated acts include Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan, Judas Priest, Kraftwerk, Todd Rundgren and MC5.

For consideration, acts must have released their first commercial work at least 25 years ago.

Fans can vote at rockhall.com or at the Hall of Fame in Cleveland now through January 10, 2020.

The 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on May 2 at Cleveland’s Public Auditorium, with nominees being announced in January.
