Dr. Dre Has Been Released from the Hospital & Back in the Studio Following Brain Aneurysm
Dr. Dre is back at work after his hospitalization.
The 55-year-old record executive returned home on Friday (January 15) after being in the hospital for two weeks receiving treatment following a brain aneurysm.
On Friday, Dr. Dre‘s close friend Ice T revealed on Twitter that he spoke with Dr. Dre via FaceTime and that he “just made it home. Safe and looking good.”
The following day, fellow record producer Focus took to Instagram to share a photo with Dr. Dre and several friends back in the studio.
“My Big Bro is Super Good!!! We Working…” Focus wrote along with the below photo.
Currently, Dr. Dre is in the middle of a divorce from wife Nicole Young, who is seeking over $2 million in monthly support. The two have been married for over 20 years.
We’re glad to hear Dr. Dre is home!

Dr. Dre is 'Doing Great' Following Hospitalization From Brain Aneurysm
Dr. Dre has released a statement following news of his hospitalization.
The 55-year-old music mogul was admitted to the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Monday (January 4), following a brain aneurysm. It was reported that he had been lucid and stable as doctors ran tests to find the cause.
After the news broke, Dr. Dre spoke out and released a statement on his condition.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and well wishes,” he shared, via his team on Variety. “I’m doing great and getting excellent care from my medical team.”
Dr. Dre is hoping that he “will be out of the hospital and back home soon. Shout out to all the great medical professionals at Cedars. One Love!!”
Variety is also reporting that a hearing concerning his divorce from Nicole Young was scheduled for Wednesday. It’s unclear if that will still take place.
