Did you know that there was a Dawson’s Creek spin-off series? Young Americans was a short-lived series that debuted almost exactly 20 years ago and it sadly only had eight episodes.
The star-studded series featured Kate Bosworth, Ian Somerhalder, Charlie Hunnam, Michelle Monaghan, Matt Czuchry, and Ed Quinn, among others.
Ed just posed for a new photo shoot for photographer Brad Everett Young‘s Dream Loud Official campaign to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary and to support art and music programs in schools.
“Young Americans was my first real job. I had a couple guest stars, but that was it. I had been trying to act for a long time. I had been studying acting, could only book commercials, I was doing the [music] thing for a while, came back to acting, and then I booked that series,” Ed said in his Screen Tests interview. “It was pretty incredible. One of my dear friends is still Matt Czuchry. We met on the plane, flying to Baltimore. I learned a lot, good and bad, on that series.”
We have photos of two of the show’s stars meeting up back in 2010 for a little reunion!
