Rosario Dawson is all smiles as she jumps rope for a scene in her upcoming flick Finally Famous on Monday afternoon (August 12) in New York City.

The 34-year-old actress was joined on set by her co-star Chris Rock.

Rosario recently told Elle her mantra of the moment.

“The one that I always say is: ‘The journey is the destination,’” Rosario said. “I can never get enough of it, because I find that to be the most truest thing. [You need to be] in [the] present and be in that moment. You can’t get lost in this idea of where you’re supposed to be going.”

“I’m a New Yorker! But in all seriousness, you have to be your own best friend. You can’t expect someone else to love you if you don’t love yourself,” Rosario expressed to Parade. “It’s not easy – everybody fights insecurities. There was a lot of depression in my family growing up, and that was a hurtle for me to overcome. I wasn’t born self-confident – I fought for it. So to anyone who feels at her worst right now, realize there’s a way out. I wasn’t at my best either. It took the right mentors and the natural growing pains of life to get where I am. Everyone can get there. You’ll get there. Believe it.”
