The Red Hot Chili Peppers are officially recipients of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

The beloved rock group received their star during a ceremony on Thursday afternoon (March 31) in Hollywood.

After the star was unveiled, Anthony Kiedis got down on his knees and licked the star! He was joined at the event by bandmates Flea, Chad Smith, and John Frusciante.

Some of the special guests who helped honor the band included Woody Harrelson, George Clinton, and Bob Forrest.

“I’m pretty sure that I have inadvertently vomited on Hollywood Walk of Fame stars in my lifetime. I’ve certainly slept on top of Hollywood Boulevard Walk of Fame stars in my lifetime. I’ve trod upon them not as a tourist but as a person running from the authorities or possibly running from somebody that I owed money to,” Anthony said at the ceremony (via Variety).

The cast of Damien Chazelle’s Babylon movie is filling out.

Deadline just revealed nine new stars that have joined the pic including Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, and Samara Weaving.

The site also revealed that Flea, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne and Damon Gupton will also appear in the film opposite Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li.

Almost all the roles and details of the plot are being kept under wraps at this point in time, however it’s reported that Babylon will be an R-rated drama set in the shifting moment in Hollywood when the industry turned from silent film to talkies.

Damien will be directing and writing the script, with Olivia Hamilton, Matt Plouffe, and Marc Platt producing. Tobey Maguire, Helen Estabrook and Adam Siegel are all executive producers on the movie.

Babylon is currently set for a January 2022 release date.

Margot actually replaced this other actress in the movie.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are the latest stars to sell their song catalog!

The beloved band will be earning a huge payday for selling their music to Hipgnosis Songs.

Some of the other artists who have recently sold their songbooks include Bob Dylan, who sold his songwriting catalog to Universal Music Publishing for more than $300 million, and Stevie Nicks, who sold her music to Primary Wave for $100 million.

Brad Pitt is putting his tattoos on display!

The 57-year-old actor went shirtless while on vacation in Turks and Caicos on Saturday (January 2).

Brad was joined by his friend Flea, the bassist of the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, while kicking off the new year in paradise. The guys were seen on a boat while doing some snorkeling in the beautiful water.

It looks like Brad has at least seven tattoos on his back and we can spot a tornado and some words written in Sanskrit.

Joaquin Phoenix gets support from his fiancee Rooney Mara as he hosts a release party for his sister Rain Phoenix‘s new album River!

The 45-year-old Joker actor and the 34-year-old Mary Magdalene actress teamed up for the event held at Jim Henson Studios on Monday (October 28) in Hollywood.

They were joined by Rooney‘s sister Kate Mara, Joker director/writer/producer Todd Phillips, The Bling Ring‘s Rachelle Carson, Bless This Mess‘s Ed Begley Jr., musicians Moby and Flea, journalist Anderson Cooper, and more.

Rain‘s debut solo album River drops on October 31, the same day her brother River Phoenix passed away in 1993.

Questlove happily hits the stage at Cinespia‘s special screening of Boyz N The Hood, over the weekend at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.

The DJ and Roots frontman was joined at the Amazon Studios and Amazon Prime Video hosted evening by Stevie Wonder, Flea, Riele Downs and her sister, and DJ Pooh at the tribute to the trailblazing filmmaker John Singleton.

Cinespia kicked off its’ summer season with screenings of Jaws, Beetlejuice, Legally Blonde, and The Goonies.

Just last week, James Franco and Lucas Hedges were spotted running into each other at Cinespia’s screening of Point Break.

Nicole Kidman was shimmering at the premiere of Boy Erased!

The 51-year-old actress hit the red carpet in a sequined gown on Monday night (October 29) at Directors Guild Of America in Los Angeles.

She was joined by her co-stars Lucas Hedges, Joel Edgerton, Flea, and Troye Sivan.

The story follows the son of a Baptist preacher who is forced to participate in a church-supported gay conversion program after being forcibly outed to his parents.

Boy Erased hits theaters November 2nd.
