Bee Shaffer is engaged to marry renowned photographer Francesco Carrozzini!

Bee is the daughter of Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Francesco is the son of the late Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, so this is a match made in fashion heaven.

The couple has been very private about their relationship and rumors that they were dating first surfaced last fall when Bee attended a screening of Francesco‘s movie about his mother, Franca: Chaos & Creation.

Bee is a segment producer for Late Night with Seth Meyers and Francesco is a celebrated fashion photographer and film director. He previously dated singer Lana Del Rey for a year.

Last year when Franca passed away, Anna wrote a touching tribute to her longtime friend.

While many celebs attended the 2017 Oscars this past weekend, Rita Ora was in Italy paying her respects to the late Franca Sozzani.

The 26-year-old singer was spotted arriving at the airport on Sunday (February 26) in Milan.

“Honouring Franca Sozzani and her legacy today in Milan ❤,” Rita shared on Instagram along with a photo of herself walking through the crowd dressed in all black.

The memorial service for the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia – who passed away in December – took place at the Florence Cathedral.

Also in attendance were Anna Wintour (editor-in-chief of Vogue), Victoria Beckham, Naomi Campbell, Giorgio Armani, Donatella Versace, and more. (via British Vogue)

Franca Sozzani, the longtime editor-in-chief of Vogue Italia, has sadly died at the age of 66.

The EIC passed away on Thursday (December 22) after a yearlong illness and her son, photographer Francesco Carrozzini, was by her side when she died.

“Franca was one of the greatest editors who ever made a magazine,” Jonathan Newhouse, chairman and chief executive of Condé Nast, said in a statement. “She was by far the most talented, influential and important person within the Condé Nast International organization. She made Italian Vogue a powerful and influential voice in the worlds of fashion and photography by publishing ground-breaking photography and journalism. In doing so she expanded Vogue beyond what had been the traditional model of a fashion magazine and often courted controversy by doing so. The greatest fashion photographers looked to Franca as the creative leader who would give them the freedom and the scope to produce their best work and they did so, month after month.”

Naomi Campbell walks the red carpet with designers Donatella Versace and Riccardo Tisci at the premiere of the documentary Franca: Chaos and Creation during the 2016 Venice Film Festival on Friday (September 2) at Sala Giardino in Venice, Italy.

The film follows the career of Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, who walked the carpet with photographer Francesco Carrozzini and designer Valentino Garavani (with partner Giancarlo Giammetti).

Also in attendance at the event were model Liya Kebede and actor Colin Firth with his wife Livia.

That same night, Valentino hosted an event for Franca and the brand’s creative director Pierpaolo Picciolo was seen posing for a photo with her.
