Alison Brie Says 'Glow' Probably Won't Start Filming Again For A While

If you’re getting anxious about the next season of Netflix’s Glow, it will probably be a while before you see it.

Alison Brie opened up about the status of the series with People magazine, saying that it would probably be a while before the cast reunites and starts filming again, even though production on certain projects has started up again.

“We’re a really physical show,” she shared. “When we shut down, I was in a wrestling ring and was in mid-sweat on another person as we were gearing up to shoot a match. We definitely taste each other’s sweat fairly often.”

Alison adds that while they did manage to film two episodes for the upcoming final season, they’ll still probably be one of the last shows to start up again.

“I don’t think we want to compromise creatively, given that it’s our final season,” she added. “So I don’t think we’re going to be one of the first shows going back.”

Earlier this week, while promoting her new movie with husband Dave Franco, Alison opened up about how they first met.

Alison Brie Teases When 'Glow' Season 4 Starts Filming

Alison Brie is teasing what she can about the upcoming final season of Netflix’s Glow.

The 37-year-old actress chatted with Collider about the series during the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, dropping hints of what she could.

I don’t think I can tease anything, because I truly don’t know — I’ve been trying to ply it out,” Alison shared about what she could share about the upcoming season.

She added that “I know we’re out of Vegas for sure. We start shooting at the beginning of March and I’ll be directing an episode this season.”

Alison did add that she’s “assuming that Debby is going to be running her network that she just bought and I’m very curious to see where we find Ruth on her journey. I hope those ladies reunite as soon as possible.”

'GLOW' Season Three Trailer Released - Watch Now!

The ladies of GLOW are back!

Netflix released the first trailer for the upcoming third season of the hit comedy series.

Here’s the synopsis for the new season: Season 3 follows the ladies of GLOW as they take the Vegas strip by storm. Now headliners at the Fan-Tan Hotel and Casino, the women quickly realize Sin City is much more grind than glitter. Ever the team cheerleader, Ruth (Alison Brie)’s passion for the show begins to take a backseat to her growingly complicated personal life. Debbie (Betty Gilpin) is making headway as a producer, but continues to be consumed with guilt over the distance between her and her son. As their residency wears on, the lines blur between performance and reality, and the cast find themselves struggling with their own identities both in and outside of the ring.

Season three of GLOW returns to Netflix on August 9th.
