Who Won 'American Idol' 2021? Season 19 (or 4!) Winner Revealed!

SPOILER ALERT – The winner of American Idol will be spoiled in this post, so don’t continue reading if you don’t want to know yet!

The season finale of the 2021 season of American Idol just ended and the winner has been announced!

Some people refer to this as the 19th season of the show because that is the overall number seasons, though ABC refers to it as season four because this is only the fourth season on the network.

Grace Kinstler, Willie Spence, and Chayce Beckham were the Top 3 contestants this season and they kicked off the night with two performances each. America voted throughout those performances and the singer with the least amount of votes was eliminated.

For the next hour or so, the season’s best contestants returned to perform songs with celebrity guests and even the judges.

At the end of the night, the Top 2 returned for their final solo performances before the final votes were calculated to determine the winner.

Grace Kinstler Blew Us Away with Her Final 'American Idol' Performances - Watch Here!

Grace Kinstler gave some incredible performances during the finale of American Idol and you can watch them here!

The 20-year-old singer from Chicago, Illinois was part of the Top 3 this season and had several performances planned for the finale.

Unfortunately, Grace was cut in the middle of the finale and we didn’t get the chance to see her final performance.

The judges picked the Celine Dion song “All By Myself” for Grace to sing and her hometown selection was “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston. You can watch both of the performances right here.

'American Idol' Top 2 Revealed - See Who Was Eliminated During the Finale

SPOILER ALERT – Do not continue reading if you don’t want to know what happened during the American Idol finale!

The top three contestants kicked off the night during ABC’s American Idol season four finale, but one of them was eliminated from the competition in the middle of the evening.

Grace Kinstler, Willie Spence, and Chayce Beckham were in the Top 3 this year and they all performed two songs at the top of the night. One song was chosen by the judges and one song was part of their Hometown experience.

After each singer performed twice, America’s votes thus far throughout the show were counted and one of them was eliminated. The final two will perform one more time before the winner is announced at the end of the show.

'American Idol' Finale 2021 - Full Performers Lineup & Song List Revealed!

The season finale of American Idol is airing TONIGHT (May 23) and there are going to be so many special guests performing during the three-hour show.

The final three contestants – Chayce Beckham, Grace Kinstler, and Willie Spence – will each be performing three solo songs. One song will be part of the “Hometown Song” segment, the next song will see the idols revisiting their favorite moments on the show, and the third song is the judge’s pick.

The top three will also perform three more songs as part of group performances and duets with mega-stars. That means they’re each learning six new songs for the finale!

Grace Kinstler Brings 'A Moment Like This' Back to 'Idol' for Top 4 Show (Video)

“A Moment Like This” is obviously an iconic song that will always be associated with American Idol thanks to Kelly Clarkson‘s winning performance and now the song is back on the show!

Grace Kinstler, one of the contestants in the Top 4, performed the song during the penultimate episode of the season on Sunday night (May 16).

Want to hear something crazy that will also make you feel really old? Grace, who is 20, was only a one-year-old when Kelly performed the song on Idol!

Judge Katy Perry told Grace after the performance that all of her cousins want her to win the show and she has a chance at that big win because she made it to the Top 3.

'American Idol' Top 4 Song Choices Revealed, Including an Iconic Pick for Grace Kinstler

The top four contestants on ABC’s fourth season of American Idol will be performing on Sunday night and we just found out their song choices!

This weekend’s show was supposed to feature the Top 5 contestants, but one of them was cut from the competition after a disturbing video of him leaked online.

For the top 4 round, each contestant will perform two solo songs and they will also pair up for duet performances. The solo songs will be their original singles and songs from their personal idols. We can’t wait to hear Grace Kinstler‘s song by her idol!!!

Finneas is the guest mentor this week and the duet performances will feature the contestants performing his songs.

'American Idol' 2021: Grace Kinstler & Alyssa Wray Win the Duet Round with Their Incredible Performance

The duets round of Hollywood Week on American Idol aired on Monday night (March 22) and there was one performance that shined brighter than all of the rest!

The producers saved Grace Kinstler and Alyssa Wray for the final performance of the night and they surely saved the best for last.

The powerhouse vocalists performed a duet version of the Bruno Mars song “Grenade” and they blew the roof off the theatre with their incredible voices.

After the three judges gave a standing ovation to the ladies, Katy Perry said, “Alright, our job is done here. Show’s over. Everybody go home!”

Katy then ripped the wig off her head and said, “We’ve seen too much!” Lionel Richie remarked, “You blew Katy‘s wig off!” He then added, “Ladies, you all just stopped the show. I’m going to tell you now, you are absolutely going through.”

We’ll be seeing Grace and Alyssa in the Showstopper round next week and we have a feeling they’ll both be in the Top 24!

Even with an incredible moment like this one, there was also a really scary moment that occurred during the episode this evening.
