Ty Burrell and his wife Holly coupled up at the 2017 Emmy Awards!

The 50-year-old Modern Family star stepped out ahead of the annual award show held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (September 17) in Los Angeles.

Ty was also joined on the carpet by his co-stars Julie Bowen, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, his hubsand Justin Mikita and Eric Stonestreet.

Modern Family was up for Outstanding Comedy Series and Ty also received a nod for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.

The 46-year-old actor was joined by Peter Sarsgaard, Ty Burrell and his wife Holly, Laura Linney, and playwrights Annie Baker and Suzan-Lori Parks at the event honoring Founding Artistic Director James Houghton‘s leadership of the company, on the occasion of his final season as Artistic Director.

Edward has been keeping busy in the city filming his latest film Collateral Beauty, which also stars Will Smith and Keira Knightley.

Ty Burrell and his wife Holly have adopted a second daughter!

The 44-year-old Modern Family actor shared the happy news with People but kept further details about the adoption private.

The couple are also parents to a daughter named Frances.

“There’s lots of problem solving in any marriage, but when you have this collective goal that is a human being, it’s an inspiring rally point,” Ty previously said about how having a daughter brought him closer to his wife.
