The 2020 Academy Awards nominations were announced this morning and Scarlett Johansson achieved something that hasn’t been done in 12 years!

Scarlett earned two acting nominations in the same year – one for Best Actress for Marriage Story and another for Best Supporting Actress for Jojo Rabbit.

The last time an actor has earned two nominations for acting in the same year was in 2008 when Cate Blanchett achieved the feat. Only 10 other actors have ever been recognized twice for their acting in the same year.

The stars of the film, who voice Frozone and Elastigirl, snapped photos with life size versions of their animated characters as well as Mr. Incredible and Edna Mode.

Also in attendance at the premiere were former tennis pro Billie Jean King and British singer Tallia Storm.

Incredibles 2 is set to hit theaters in the UK on Friday (July 13), and came in at number two this past week at the US box office.

Sophia joined the cast of the animated film for the sequel as Voyd. Holly is returning as Helen Parr/Elastigirl!

Also in attendance at the event were Craig T. Nelson (Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible), Sarah Vowell (Violet Parr), Huck Milner (Dash), Catherine Keener (Evelyn Deavor), Bob Odenkirk (Winston Deavor), Samuel L. Jackson (Lucius Best/Frozone), John Ratzenberger (Underminer), and director Brad Bird, who also voiced Edna Mode.

Incredibles 2 will hit theaters on June 15!

Disney/Pixar released the clip on Friday (April 13).

In Incredibles 2, Helen (Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dash (Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered.

Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.

Brad Bird, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Jonathan Banks, Sophia Bush, and Isabella Rossellini also lend their voice talents. Brad also serves as director and writer.

The full cast of the upcoming Disney/Pixar movie Incredibles 2 has been announced, in addition to descriptions of their characters!

Returning are Craig T. Nelson as Bob Parr/Mr. Incredible, Holly Hunter as Helen Parr/Elastigirl and Samuel L. Jackson as Lucius Best/Frozone.

There are some exciting additions to the cast, including Sophia Bush, Isabella Rossellini, Bob Odenkirk, and Catherine Keener.

Here is the film’s official description: Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in Incredibles 2 – but this time Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily V. Gordon are all smiles as they hit the red carpet at the 2018 Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 21) in Los Angeles.

The couple were joined at the event by the cast of their film The Big Sick including Zoe Kazan, Holly Hunter, Ray Romano, Adeel Akhtar, and Anupam Kher.

Also stepping out to support The Big Sick was the movie’s producer Judd Apatow and his wife Leslie Mann.

The Big Sick was nominated tonight Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, but unfortunately lost to the cast of Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
