Don Cheadle‘s comedy series House of Lies has been canceled and it will end after the current fifth season.

The series finale will air on Sunday, June 12 and the episode was shot in Cuba. The show also starred Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz, and Josh Lawson.

“House of Lies is a comedy that has frequently been ahead of the curve,” Showtime president and CEO David Nevins said in a statement (via THR). “Over the course of its five seasons, it has tackled such hot-button topics as gender identity, wealth inequality, white privilege, police brutality, interracial relationships, and code-switching with honesty and a biting sense of humor. Matthew Carnahan and Don Cheadle have been dream partners and impeccable leaders. The core cast of Don, Kristen, Ben and Josh are one of the best comedy teams on television. They have brought the series to an incredibly satisfying conclusion with this historic final episode shot in Cuba.”

Here’s the synopsis: No longer content with fleecing big-money clients, Marty (Don Cheadle) is upping the stakes in a highly calculated winner-take-all power play that will land him and the Pod – Jeannie (Kristen Bell), Clyde (Ben Schwartz) and Doug (Josh Lawson) – in Cuba.

To the victor go all the spoils. Business is booming but, on the home front, he’s juggling a new baby daughter, teenage son Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.) and Jeremiah (Glynn Turman), who has a new girlfriend, Rita (Wanda Sykes).

House of Lies premieres on Sunday, April 10 @ 9 PM ET/PT on Showtime.

Showtime has just announced renewals for two of its hit shows: Shameless and House of Lies!

The announcement was made today by David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks, that the shows will both receive 12 episode orders for the 2015 seasons.

Shameless, which currently airs on Sunday evenings, stars Emmy Rossum, and House of Lies, which also airs on Sundays, stars Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle.

It was previously announced that Showtime comedy Episodes has been renewed as well.

Kristen Bell arrives on the set of her television show House of Lies carrying a plastic bag on Monday afternoon (October 7) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 33-year-old actress was joined on the set by her co-star Don Cheadle for the day of filming.

The day before, Kristen tweeted about an incident that occurred with her fiance Dax Shepard.

“As the dog scampers around in the dark trying to figure out a way to sneak onto the bed, @daxshepard1 groggily says ‘Is he having a seizure?Grab his wallet & stick it in his mouth so he doesn’t swallow his tongue’” she wrote.

Don Cheadle looks dapper as he arrives at the exclusive screening and panel discussion for his show House of Lies held at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre on Thursday (June 6) in North Hollywood, Calif.

The 48-year-old actor was joined by his co-stars Dawn Olivieri, Ben Schwartz, Nia Long, Donis Leonard Jr., executive producer Jessika Borsiczky, creator Matthew Carnahan, and Showtime Networks Entertainment President, David Nevins.
