HQ Trivia Host Scott Rogowsky Is Leaving the Company - Find Out Why!

HQ Trivia‘s Scott Rogowksy is leaving.

The 34-year-old host is stepping down from hosting the daily trivia show to become a baseball host, because HQ wouldn’t allow him to work two different jobs according to TMZ.

Scott last appeared on the popular daily trivia show on March 24, and hasn’t returned due to the fact that he and HQ could not reach an agreement for him to host both HQ and DAZN’s new show, ChangeUp, at the same time according to the report.

He was reportedly trying to stay on as a weekend host for HQ, but CEO Rus Yusupov wouldn’t let it happen.

Scott reportedly has “no hard feelings,” and is excited to begin his new journey.

If you didn’t know, the game allows players to answer increasingly difficult questions in order to win a cash prize. The game airs daily at 3 PM EST and 9 PM EST on weekdsays and 9 PM EST on weekends.

“HQties across the HQniverse are going to flip their wigs when they see DJ pop up on their favorite game show on Wednesday (April 11). We’re giving out our biggest prize ever — enough money to go to the gym for 400 years (which is how long it would take to get as swole as him!),” said Scott.

Will you be one of the players competing for the big prize?

HQ Trivia Just Announced Two Big Rule Changes

Two big changes were just announced in HQ Trivia‘s afternoon game on Friday (January 26)!

One of the biggest criticisms of the app has been how it’s nearly impossible for most winners to claim their prizes. Until now, HQ would not let winners claim their prize money until they had $20 in their banks. On top of that, if you didn’t claim your prize money within 90 days, you would forfeit it.

Since there are often so many winners in one game, the prizes sometimes are just a couple dollars and most people have not been able to claim their prize money so far.

Now, the app will allow everyone to cash out no matter how much money is in their bank!

HQ's New Year's Eve Game Goes Wrong, Scott Rogowsky Ad Libs Through Countdown

The new game show app HQ experienced a meltdown during its special New Year’s Eve round and host Scott Rogowsky was left having to ad lib through the fail.

The round was teased all night long and Scott even made an appearance on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2018 alongside Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy, where he played a mock question with the hosts.

During the failed round, the first question wouldn’t show up for the hundreds of thousands of people who tuned in. The answer was “fidget spinner” and Scott went on and on about the little gadget while waiting to see who got the question right. The only thing is, no one was able to enter an answer!

Scott read the second question about “Salt Bae,” but no one was able to see that question either. The game was then scrapped and Scott instead counted down to midnight. The round, with a record high prize of $18,000, was rescheduled to 12:30am ET. He also said that players would be getting extra lives for the mess-up!
