Matty Healy has already faced a lot of backlash for the comments he previously made about Ice Spice back in February and now he’s finally responding to the controversy.

The 34-year-old musician, who is the frontman of the band The 1975, appeared on the podcast The Adam Friedland Show earlier this year to promote his band’s new album.

On the show, the hosts brought up how Ice Spice had mentioned she’s a big fan of The 1975 and they proceeded to call her a “chubby Chinese lady” and said she sounds like an “Inuit Space Girl.” Matty laughed along while the hosts continued to mock Chinese and Hawaiian accents.

During a concert in New Zealand in April, Matty initially apologized to Ice Spice. He said at the time, “I just feel a bit bad, and I’m kind of a bit sorry if I’ve offended you. Ice Spice, I’m sorry. It’s not because I’m annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It’s because I don’t want Ice Spice to think I’m a d–k. I love you, Ice Spice. I’m so sorry. I don’t want it to be misconstrued as mean.”

In recent weeks, Matty has been romantically linked to Taylor Swift, who just collaborated with Ice Spice on the “Karma” remix. The timing has brought the quotes into the spotlight again.

Now, Matty is opening up again in a new interview, in which he called people angry at the comments “deluded.”

Taylor Swift just dropped her latest music video!

Just hours after first sharing the sneak peek with Swifties at her New Jersey Eras tour concert on Friday night, the 33-year-old singer shared the vid with all of her fans worldwide with the premiere of “Karma (Remix)”!

Taylor teamed up with rapper Ice Spice for the remix, which is featured on her new Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album.

Ice was also a surprise guest at the tour, and performed with Taylor on stage!

In the vid, Taylor is seen dancing around on a yellow brick road, laying on top of a giant cat in a 1960s blue dress, and even seen inside a sand timer. At one moment in the video, you can see Taylor‘s form laying down and making an island – reminiscent of Moana!

Ice also takes on some fairytale themes, and at one point, fans can see her on a clam shell, holding a pearl in her hands.

New Taylor Swift music has arrived!

The 33-year-old singer has teamed up with rapper Ice Spice for the “Karma (Remix)” that is featured on the new Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album.

Taylor sings in the chorus of the song, “‘Cause karma is my boyfriend / Karma is a god / Karma is the breeze in my hair on the weekend.”

Ice Spice comes in on the second verse of the song and raps, “Karma is your text by the bounce (Damn) / Karma is the fire in your house (Graah) / And she ’bout to pop up unannounced, like / And she never leavin’ you alone (Damn) / Watch it put your opps up on the throne.”

Dua Lipa got the Barbie party started with the release of her new single “Dance The Night.”

The 27-year-old “One Kiss” pop star contributed the song to the star-studded soundtrack, and it’s a dazzling floor-filler that promises nonstop fun from start to finish.

She dropped the song alongside a music video featuring stars from the movie including Margot Robbie on Thursday (May 25). Her release was followed by the reveal of the seriously star-studded tracklist for Barbie The Album.

Taylor Swift is releasing another new edition of her album Midnights, and it features two updated tracks and another from The Vault.

The 33-year-old “Anti-Hero” pop titan took to social media on Wednesday (May 24) to confirm that she was dropping Midnights (Til Dawn Edition), her second deluxe copy of the album.

It will feature a remix of “Karma” featuring Ice Spice and an upgraded version of her Lana Del Rey collab “Snow on the Beach.”

Ice Spice is making her 2023 Met Gala debut!

The 23-year-old “Princess Diana” rapper posed for photos while arriving at her very first Met Gala on Monday evening (May 1) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.

While on the red carpet, Ice Spice carried a bedazzled camera with her while wearing a white dress.

The theme of the Met Gala this year is “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty” and the event will honor the late fashion designer. The dress code for the gala is “in honor of Karl,” who has worked at such fashion houses as Balmain, Chloé, Fendi, and Chanel.

FYI: Ice Spice is wearing a Balmain dress with EFFY jewelry.

Ice Spice is speaking out after a post she put up on Instagram using her real name got removed by the social media company.

The 23-year-old “In Ha Mood” rapper took to her Instagram Stories earlier this week to tell fans what happened to her post.

Ice Spice shared a screenshot of the Instagram notification she received after her post was flagged for violating community guidelines.

“You post has been removed. It goes against our Community Guidelines on violence or dangerous organizations,” the notification said.
