We have our first official look at Madame Web, starring Dakota Johnson as the title character in the Marvel comic universe, alongside Sydney Sweeney as Julia Carpenter (aka Spider-Woman).

Here’s the synopsis of the movie: In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures…if they can all survive a deadly present.

Lots of stars were in attendance at Armani Beauty‘s celebration of the new Acqua Di Gio Parfum campaign!

Chase Stokes and Lukas Gage, who are both featured in the new campaign, brought their significant others to the event on Saturday night (July 15) at a private residence in Malibu, Calif.

Chase was joined by girlfriend Kelsea Ballerini while Lukas was accompanied by husband Chris Appleton.

Also in attendance were fellow Gen A talent Jonathan Daviss, Michael Evans Behling, Camila Mendes, and Isabela Merced. Other notable names included Joe Jonas, Michael Cimino, Chase Sui Wonders, Odeya Rush, and Ginny & Georgia stars Antonia Gentry and Sara Waisglass, among others. Guests toasted to the new campaign and Armani’s Gen A partnership while sampling the fragrance, enjoying cocktails provided by Don Julio, and dancing to music by Joe Jonas.

James Gunn is hard at work on the upcoming DC Universe movie Superman: Legacy, which will reintroduce the beloved superhero.

Gunn‘s DC co-chief Peter Safran has said that the new movie will focus “on Superman balancing his Kryptonian heritage with his human upbringing. He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way. He is kindness in a world that thinks of kindness as old-fashioned.”

The movie is currently scheduled to be released in theaters on July 11, 2025 and we now know who will play Superman, Lois Lane, a Green Lantern, Mister Terrific, and Hawkgirl.

Sydney Sweeney partnered up with Armani Beauty to host a launch party for the brand’s My Way Refillable Parfume on Thursday evening (April 28) in New York City.

The Euphoria actress wore a black crop top, which she paired with a sheer skirt. She wore her hair down and posed for a photo with actor Lukas Gage on the red carpet.

So many other stars were also in attendance.

The Alien reboot is growing larger!

Fede Alvarez is directing the upcoming project, with Scott Free producing, via Deadline.

There’s very little known about the upcoming reboot of the iconic franchise, other than the fact that the race of alien beings called Xenomorphs will be featured once again, “reigning terror against the humans that cross their paths.”

Dakota Johnson goes in for a hug from one of the crew members during a night shoot on Madame Web in Boston, Mass., over the weekend.

The 33-year-old actress was seen in a long trench coat as she headed to the set for the final night of filming in the city with co-stars Adam Scott and Isabela Merced.

In a recent interview, Sydney Sweeney, who also stars in the film, admitted she was nervous to work with Dakota on the film.
