Elle Fanning shows off her midriff and shoulders in a cute two piece outfit while out in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (October 7).

The day after, the 17-year-old actress was spotted running more errands while older sis Dakota was spotted on a stroll with boyfriend Jamie Strachan in New York City.

Director Haifaa Al Mansour recently spoke with MTV about collaborating with Elle on the upcoming The Storm in the Stars.

“Elle has this elegance, she has this strength underneath. It’s amazing to have all that mixture in a young actress,” Haifaa shared, adding that they start shooting in November.

Dakota Fanning offers up a rare smile while out with boyfriend Jamie Strachan in New York City on Monday afternoon (September 21).

The 21-year-old actress’ sister, Elle, is on the new cover of i-D‘s LGBTQ issue.

“I was so excited about her Vanity Fair cover, and the feedback she’s getting online is amazing,” Elle shared with the glossy about Caitlyn Jenner.

She continued, “It was really brave of her to come out in her 60s and to be herself, it just shows that it’s never too late…I think that my kids, and people further into the future, will look back on today and remember people like Caitlyn Jenner, Jazz Jennings and Laverne Cox, who were the first to really bring it into the mainstream in this way.”

Elle is also pictured below out for a sweet treat in Los Angeles.

Dakota is also pictured out and about with boyfriend Jamie Strachan a few days earlier.

TheWrap is reporting that Elle is on the shortlist for the female lead alongside Olivia Cooke and Lola Kirke in Steven Spielberg‘s adaptation of Ernie Cline‘s “Ready Player One.”

If cast, she’ll play the role of Art3mis, the avatar of Samantha Cook within the Oasis, which is the virtual reality universe at the center of the sci-fi story.
