Janelle Monae isn’t shy about her boobs anymore!

The 37-year-old musician lifted one side of her bra top to expose on of her breasts on stage during the 2023 Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, Louisiana over the weekend.

Just last month, Janelle opened up about the insecurity she once had for her breasts, and got candid about her acceptance of them.

In addition to Janelle, Eve also made a big return to the stage over the weekend, alongside fellow musicians Lauryn Hill, Kelly Rowland, Tobe Nwigwe, Ice T, Ice Cube, Coco Jones, Sandra Denton and Cheryl James of Salt-N-Pepa, Tems, Wizkid, Remy Ma, and Lil Wayne.

While the performances were hot, there were also a lot of major discussion panels throughout the weekend.

Oprah Winfrey spoke to Danielle Brooks, Blitz Bazawule, Fantasia Barrino and Taraji P. Henson; Abbott Elementary‘s Lisa Ann Walter, Quinta Brunson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Janelle James; and Tiffany Haddish joined Rosario Dawson, LaKeith Stanfield, and Justin Simien for a fun convo on stage too.

Other celebs spotted include The Bachelorette‘s Charity Lawson, Grey’s Anatomy‘s Chandra Wilson, Isis King, Quvenzhane Wallis, Sherri Shepard, Al Sharpton, Diamond White, Ashleigh Murray, and Sinclair Daniel.

Vice President Kamala Harris also made a special appearance at the festival, where she spoke with The View‘s Sunny Hostin.

So many stars hit the pink carpet for the 2023 BET Awards tonight!

Ice Spice, Shameik Moore, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock lead the way with amazing looks and hairstyles for the event, held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (June 25) in Los Angeles.

The trio were joined by Summer Walker and Lil Meech, Ari Fletcher, Coco Jones, Lil Uzi Vert, Soulja Boy, Eva Marcille, Bow Wow, and Porscha Coleman.

Ray J and Princess Love coupled up alongside Latto, GloRilla, Tyga, father and daughter duo Master P and Cymphonique, Abbott Elementary‘s Janelle James, Demi Singleton, Victoria Monet, Swizz Beatz, Lil Mama, T.I., Layzie Bone and Tiny Haylie.

The BET Awards “celebrates 50 years of hip hop and honors music artists, actors, athletes and more for their work, achievements and cultural impact.”

Janelle James is getting real.

The Abbott Elementary star, who plays the principal Ava Coleman on the hit comedy series, spoke out in a new story with Variety, out now.

During the conversation, Janelle spoke about her character, dieting and losing weight, as well as her true thoughts about Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle.

Fellow Abbott Elementary cast members in attendance included Janelle James, William Stanford Davis, and Lisa Ann Walter who brought her Parent Trap co-star Elaine Hendrix as her date!

Abbott Elementary is nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series while Quinta is nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.

So many stars made it out for the 54th NAACP Awards on Saturday evening (February 25) in Pasadena, Calif.

The likes of Tracee Ellis Ross, Viola Davis, Janelle Monae, Quinta Brunson and Sheryl Lee Ralph hit the carpet at the event, which was hosted at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.

Quinta Brunson had a funny moment at the top of the show at the 2023 Critics Choice Awards!

The 33-year-old actress was one of the first presenters of the night at the show held at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel on Sunday (January 15) in Los Angeles.

Quinta and Sarah Hyland joined forces on stage to announce the winners of Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

Abbott Elementary has scored an early season three renewal from ABC, fresh off of the show’s huge night at the 2023 Golden Globes!

The show not only won for best comedy series, the series was also recognized with two acting awards for Quinta Brunson, the show’s creator, and Tyler James Williams.

“This renewal is a richly deserved feather in the cap of Quinta Brunson, [executive producers] Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker, and Randall Einhorn, as well as the rest of the cast and crew of Abbott Elementary,” Channing Dungey, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group, which produces Abbott with Disney’s 20th Television, announced (via THR). “Each week, this talented group of artists celebrates true unsung heroes — public school teachers. And for some extra icing on the renewal cake, our favorite group of teachers was honored this morning with two Screen Actors Guild Award nominations and last night with three Golden Globe Awards. Abbott Elementary is the gift that keeps on giving, and I look forward to many more magnificent episodes of this brilliant, authentic, and just plain funny series.”

Sheryl Lee Ralph, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti and William Stanford Davis also star.

Fans might not be happy to see which fan favorite ABC hit will be ending this year.
