Jean Smart wasn’t able to attend the 2023 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday evening (February 26). However, that didn’t stop her from winning big during the ceremony.

The 71-year-old screen icon beat out the competition, including Jenna Ortega and Christina Applegate, to win Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series for her work on Hacks.

Since she was not present, her co-star Christopher McDonald accepted the trophy in her honor and read a speech she wrote for the occasion.

Jean Smart opened up about her heart health during American Heart Month.

The 71-year-old Hacks star hopped on social media to reveal that she had undergone a successful heart procedure and to urge others to be aware of their heart health.

It was also revealed that production for the third season of the award-winning HBO Max series was on pause as she goes through recovery.

They lead a star-studded cast in the film, which is released today (December 23).

The opening scene of Babylon is filled with sex, drugs, nudity and and booze – a party so wild that neither of them have actually been to something like that in real life. “That wild? No,” Brad said.

Nearly the full cast of the star-studded movie Babylon was in attendance at the film’s L.A. premiere!

Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, and many more stars stepped out for the event on Thursday (December 15) at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance were Jean Smart, Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li, P.J. Byrne, Lukas Haas, Olivia Hamilton, Tobey Maguire, Max Minghella, Rory Scovel, Flea, Eric Roberts, and Olivia Wilde, as well as writer and director Damien Chazelle.
