Jodie Whittaker paid a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (January 8) and dished about the overnight life-changing experience of entering the Doctor Who universe!
The 37-year-old actress told host Jimmy that the success happened before she ever stepped on set for the role.
“It’s a really strange job because, unlike many others, you only become well known if the job is successful. You’re in a show, people love it so they watch it — and then, you become attached to being that person for people,” Jodie expressed. “For this, you’re famous before you ever step foot on set for the role. You’re welcomed into this extraordinary family, which is the Who Universe. It’s really beautiful but it’s really an overnight thing.”
Jodie also talked about putting her dance moves on display while dressed as Po the Kung Fu Panda at a cast wrap party.
