Newcomer John Lindahl has released his new album Opening Night!

The 23-year-old singer, who appeared on The X Factor when he was just 14, is the first artist from Logic‘s joint venture with Def Jam.

John was discovered by Justin Timberlake and he has been mentored by Logic for the last few years. John wrote, engineered and executive produced everything on his debut album.

John most recently released “Lies/Honest,” two singles that he describes as “a mutually toxic relationship that results in both people being unfaithful to one another and sheds light on the inevitable jealousy we all face when we see someone we once loved with someone else.”

The singer, dancer, writer, and producer – who has also worked with Justin Timberlake, Timbaland, and more – released the soulful, energetic song on Friday (August 2).

“It’s finally here guys,” John shared on Instagram. “I literally wasn’t even going to put this song out because I made the beat in my 6 foot by 4 foot bedroom studio and jokingly recorded a freestyle off the top of my head while laughing my ass off in between takes. Everyone I played it for loved it and told me I’d be crazy to not release it.”

“When I was coming up and signed my first record deal, people told me that I couldn’t write or produce music by myself,” he added. “So now it’s crazy to say that my first major label release was written and produced by me alone. Thank you for believing in me I love you. ‘All Day’ is out now everywhere you stream music.”

The party was presented by SweeTARTS Chewy Sours and guests at the event snacked on the soft, coated candies that are powerfully sour and finished with a touch of sweet. You can Sour Up with the new treats, available now at retailers nationwide.

Gerard Cosmetics was on hand with a beauty bar for guests to touch up their makeup and pick up some cool swag to use at home as well.

Nerf provided a ton of Rebelle soakers for guests at the event to have water fights throughout the day. While guests were already getting wet from the rainy weather, the soakers made it even more fun!

DJ Dominic Carter spun tunes for the party and put on a show for the crowd in front of the Jose Cuervo margarita station, where guests got to choose from five flavors of drinks. Guests at the party also sipped on Freixenet sparkling wine and kept hydrated thanks to AquaHydrate bottled water.

Even though it was raining throughout the whole party, guests still went into the pool and Lacoste provided swimsuits and towels for those wanting to take a dip in the water.
