Celebs React to Georgia Senate Race Results

The stars are speaking out amid a heated political race in the United States.

Celebs like T.I., Cher, Naomi Campbell, Billy Eichner and Mark Hamill are reacting to the incoming results from Georgia’s Senate race.

According to major news network projections, Rev. Raphael Warnock has won one of the two Senate seats up for grabs in the state over Senator Kelly Loeffler, a historic win as Georgia’s first Black senator.

The second race is still too close to call, between Republican senator David Perdue and Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff. Both seats are needed for Democrats to take control of the Senate.

Many celebrities are now speaking out about the results, with many celebrating the work specifically of Stacey Abrams in mobilizing voters in the state, as well as some mocking Mitch McConnell for losing control of the Senate.

Zach Braff Wants to Play Georgia Democrat Jon Ossoff on 'Saturday Night Live'

Zach Braff has already thrown his hat into the ring to play Jon Ossoff on Saturday Night Live.

The 45-year-old actor took to Twitter and tagged the popular sketch comedy show with his plea.

“Lorne, I got this,” he wrote, which garnered a lot of replies from fans and celebs alike.

Following his tweet, some fans have even suggested that Zach‘s BFF, podcast co-host and Scrubs co-star Donald Faison play the other Georgia runoff candidate, Rev. Raphael Warnock.

Jon and Raphael are in a tight race with Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue, their Republican counterparts, in the race for the Senate seats in Georgia. The outcome of the runoff race will determine who will have majority in the Senate.

SNL has tapped many famous faces over the recent years to play politicians.

Alec Baldwin has played Donald Trump, with Maya Rudolph as incoming Vice President Kamala Harris and Jim Carrey as President-Elect Joe Biden.

Jim was just recently replaced by Alex Moffatt. See the announcement here…
