Kaitlynn Carter is going to be a mom!
The 32-year-old star, who appears on The Hills: New Beginnings, took to her Instagram on Thursday (June 17) to announce that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Kristopher Brock.

Brody Jenner is addressing ex-wife Kaitlynn Carter‘s romance with Miley Cyrus publicly for the first time.
Here’s a little background info: Kaitlynn, 32, and Brody, 37, married in 2018 after nearly four years of dating. In August 2019, the couple announced that they had separated, while also revealing that they were never legally married.
Shortly after news of their separation broke, Kaitlynn was spotted kissing Miley, 28, during a tropical getaway. Just a few days earlier, Miley announced she had split from husband Liam Hemsworth.
Now in a sneak peek for season two of The Hills: New Beginnings, Brody and Kaitlynn had a candid conversation about her relationship with Miley.
“The whole lesbian thing was gnarly because in our entire relationship, you never expressed that you had any interest in females whatsoever,” Brody said to Kaitlynn.
Kaitlynn then interjected, saying, “I don’t think that’s totally fair,” to which Brody replied, “We had some fun, but you said to me you weren’t into girls.”
Kaitlynn then went on to say that her romance with Miley was her first ever relationship with a woman. “I think I had never met somebody that I was into,” she explained.
Brody acknowledged her feelings, saying, “But it was a shock for me and, I think, for a lot of people that saw that.”
In a confessional, Brody admitted that he was blindsided by Kaitlynn and Miley‘s romance.
“She got into a relationship with somebody, and I didn’t find out until I saw it in the press,” Brody revealed. “But after some time had passed, I realized this is where our lives were going. We’re going to be separated, we’re not gonna be together, but let’s still be in each other’s lives.”
Kaitlynn and Miley‘s relationship eventually fizzled out after a few weeks, and Kaitlynn and Brody have remained friends.
In a recent interview, Kaitlynn talked about her romance with Miley, saying she was “very deeply in love.”

Kaitlynn Carter is opening up a bit about her fling with Miley Cyrus in the summer of 2019 after Miley split from her husband Liam Hemsworth.
“I’m not at all embarrassed by the Elle piece,” Kaitlynn said about her infamous essay about dating Miley during a recent appearance on the “Scrubbing In” podcast.
On the podcast, Kaitlynn said that “no one was more surprised that I was all of a sudden dating one of my girlfriends than I was.
“When I look back, I know that I had feelings for her that were maybe different from feelings I had for other friends,” she continued. “It was entirely unintentional, but I was very deeply in love with this person.”
After their breakup in September of 2019, Kaitlynn said, “All of a sudden all I wanted to do was create things,” she said. “That Elle piece was one of those things that were super cathartic.”
“I don’t want to have a relationship that’s in the tabloids. I don’t want to do overly public things,” Kaitlynn now revealed about her current feelings on the topic.
We’re unsure of where Miley and Kaitlynn stand today, but this doesn’t suggest they might be on okay terms.
Despite constant media attention, Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter did try and keep their relationship out of the spotlight.
Their relationship happened just as Miley and Liam Hemsworth were getting a divorce.
“We actually did work pretty hard to keep it as private as we could, but it is what it is. It’s so hard to go through a breakup in the public eye, too… It’s so rough. But there’s also a lot to be gained and learned from that,” Kaitlynn said during an appearance on The Viall Files podcast. The pair split up back in September.
“What I’ve really realized is now with dating, I’m super private about it. Since last fall, once that whole situation [with Miley] came to a wrap, I was like, ‘That’s the last time I’m doing a public thing,’” she added.
“With the person that I’ve been seeing recently, I’m trying to take it really slow and make sure that everything is in place,” she continued. “We’re not boyfriend/girlfriend.”
And Kaitlynn said she doesn’t put labels on herself and her sexuality.
“I don’t put that pressure on myself. Whoever I want to date, is who I want to date,” The Hills New Beginnings star added. “Honestly, it’s been interesting to find who I am attracted to.”
Kaitlynn continued, “I do feel there’s this attitude when someone dates a woman one time that maybe it was just an experiment. People will put that on you… I find that pretty frustrating. I don’t think the labels are what matters.”

The 31-year-old blogger shared a brand new photo on her Instagram this week, where Brody is seen in the reflection, snapping the pic.
“reprised his role for the day,” Kaitlynn captioned the pic, tagging him on the image as the photographer.
Kaitlynn and Brody had started dating in 2014 and got married in a ceremony in Bali. However, just last August, the two had separated.
After their separation news broke, Kaitlynn started dating Miley Cyrus and they were soon photographed together on a tropical getaway.
Kaitlynn has been open about her relationships with both Brody and Miley.
“He was quite possibly the most beautiful man on the planet, with a heart of gold and a tireless sense of adventure. I was drawn to his spirit,” she said of Brody, adding, “He became my best friend, and together we had all the fun the world had to offer.”

“What happened to me, basically just after Miley and I went our separate ways, I thought, OK, my life’s just kinda going back to the way it normally was for me when I’m on my own. I had no expectations that anyone would give a s–t about me by myself. I had no plan in place. I didn’t think about anything. For example, I was dealing with a lot emotionally at that time, obviously, and I really wasn’t going out anywhere. I was just staying home,” she admitted.
She went on to say she was shocked that the paparazzi were still following her.
“I just didn’t anticipate anything like this happening. I’m used to it when I’m, like, with Brody [Jenner] or when I was with her, but never when I’m on my own. My mind is just swirling.”
She went on to say she tried to say something “that was kinda stupid,” only to see headlines about how she was “out on the town, partying with a mystery man just two weeks after her breakup.”
“I was just so mortified…the narrative was so not what the actual situation was and that was such a wake up call for me…I had always gone with the flow or whatever people say they say, I don’t care.”
“In relationships especially, I have always taken a back seat a little bit and sort of trusted the person I’m with to run the show, especially publicly because it’s never really been something that I wanted. I never really wanted to put myself out there that way,” she admitted.
