After raising $3 million at her Diamond Ball 2015, the 29-year-old pop icon just one-upped herself with the Diamond Ball 2017, raising over $5 million.

The third annual event was held on Thursday night (September 14) at Cipriani in New York City, and was hosted by Dave Chapelle. The night also included performances by Kendrick Lamar and Calvin Harris.

Attendees included Young Thug, Jay-Z, Future, La La Anthony, Beyonce, Slick Woods, Trevor Noah, Jamie Foxx, Elisa and EJ Johnson, DJ Cassidy, Petra Nemcova and Cardi B.

“Together, we are funding groundbreaking and effective global education, health and emergency response programs. We are investing in the future and helping to improve the quality of life for young people and their families around the globe,” the pop star said.

The funds raised at the event will go to support the Clara Lionel Foundation’s initiative to provide global education, health and emergency response programs around the world.

Congratulations on achieving such an amazing feat, Ri!

Kendrick Lamar Never Saw a Live Concert Before His First Performance on Tour

Kendrick Lamar is on the cover of Billboard magazine‘s latest issue alongside Anthony ‘Top Dawg’ Tiffith, the man who discovered him, and they discuss their rise to success.

Tiffith‘s company TDE has helped grow artists like Kendrick and SZA before partnering with major labels for an even bigger reach.

In the interview, Kendrick revealed that he had never seen a live concert before he was at one to perform.

“When I went on tour with The Game [and Jay Rock, in 2006] — that was my first show,” Kendrick told the mag. Asked if he never saw a show growing up, he said, “Mmhmm. That sh-t cost money. Gas money. Me being onstage is me fulfilling two different things — performing and getting to enjoy it like the people enjoying it.”

Kendrick Lamar Wants His Answer 'On the Record' When Asked About Katy Perry & Taylor Swift's Feud

Kendrick Lamar gets up close and personal on the cover of Rolling Stone‘s new issue.

Here’s what the 30-year-old rapper had to share:

On if he was aware of Katy Perry & Taylor Swift‘s feud when he did the “Bad Blood” remix: “No, I wasn’t aware of that, bro. That’s a great question. No! On the record, no. Which makes it even more funny now, for sure. That’s far beyond my concern. I have to stay away from that, for sure. That’s some real beef.”

On what he learned from working with Beyonce on Lemonade: “How particular to be about your music. She’s a perfectionist. Think about the BET performance. She was very particular – the lighting, the camera blocking, the transition from the music to the dancing. It was confirmation of something I already knew.”

On when he found his own style: “I think it was the day I said I was gonna go by my real name, Kendrick Lamar.”
