The stars of The Power of the Dog are stepping out for the movie’s latest screening!
Kirsten Dunst, Kodi Smit-McPhee, and Benedict Cumberbatch posed together on the red carpet at the screening of their new Netflix movie on Thursday (November 11) during the 2021 AFI Fest at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Calif.
Also in attendance was Benedict‘s wife Sophie Hunter, fellow cast member Frances Conroy, and the movie’s director Jane Campion.
Other stars at the screening included WandaVision actress Kathryn Hahn and Paper Towns actor Nat Wolff.
The Power of the Dog will arrive in theaters on November 17 and begin streaming December 1 on Netflix. You can watch the trailer here!

Benedict Cumberbatch is hitting the red carpet with wife Sophie Hunter!
The 45-year-old actor and the 43-year-old opera director coupled up on the red carpet as they arrived at the 2021 LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci on Saturday night (November 6) at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art in Los Angeles.

Also in attendance were Benedict‘s The Power of the Dog co-stars Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kristen Dunst, and Jesse Plemons.

Macaualay Culkin, Jodie Turner-Smith, and Kodi Smit-McPhee all walked the runway in the Gucci Love Parade held on Tuesday evening (November 2) outside on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles.

Kodi Smit-McPhee suits up in a sharp red ensemble for the 2021 SCAD Savannah Film Festival on Tuesday night (October 26) in Savannah, Ga.
The 25-year-old actor, who can be seen in The Power of the Dog, was honored with the Discovery Award.
During a recent interview, Kodi opened up about his audition for The Power of The Dog, which happened in director Jane Campion‘s friends’ home.
“I met Jane at one of her friends’ lovely little comfortable houses, and we just improvised with the character a bit and ended up doing some cold reads, and she asked me about my interests,” Kodi shared. “And we kind of uplifted Peter, the character, in the room, which I think was a really cool, organic approach.”
He added that the audition “was so against the traditional kind of cattle call of the anxious auditions that you receive in LA – so I loved that. I wish – if it could go that way all the time – I feel like I would really excel! But it’s not like that. Not everyone’s Jane!”

Kirsten Dunst wears a chic green dress while posing with her co-stars Kodi Smit-McPhee and Benedict Cumberbatch at the premiere of their film, The Power of the Dog, during the 2021 BFI London Film Festival at The Royal Festival Hall on Monday (October 11) in London, England.
The trio of stars were joined by Benedict‘s wife, Sophie Hunter, as well as director Jane Campion, cinematographer Ari Wegner, and producers Roger Frappier, Tanya Seghatchian, Iain Canning, Simon Gillis, and John R. Woodward for the event.
Here’s the official summary for the movie: Charismatic rancher Phil Burbank inspires fear and awe in those around him. When his brother brings home a new wife and her son, Phil torments them until he finds himself exposed to the possibility of love.
Previously, Kirsten, Kodi and Benedict have taken the film to New York and Venice.
Benedict has also opened up about the debate of straight actors playing gay roles as he promoted the film.
