Dennis Quaid and his wife Laura Savoie aren’t on the red carpet together that often, but they just made a rare appearance!

The 68-year-old actor and his 29-year-old wife walked the carpet together at the 2022 CMT Music Awards on Monday (April 11) at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.

For those who don’t know, Dennis was first linked to Laura back in summer 2019 and they got married one year later. He has previously addressed their 39-year age difference.

Dennis Quaid is swooning for his new wife, Laura Savoie.

The 66-year-old Parent Trap actor, who tied the knot with his 27-year-old wife in early June, spoke out in an interview with People.

“It was love at first sight,” he said of their meeting in May 2019 after being introduced at a business event. They later got engaged in October that year.

“I just love who she is as a person. Her character, her intelligence, of course, her beauty. And her point of view of the world.”

He also talked about their shared values: “We’re both Christians, and right from the start God has always had a hand in the relationship. I think that’s where the real strength comes from,” he said.

Dennis also discussed the couple’s 39 year age difference.

“It really just doesn’t come up. There’s just something timeless about us. We’re partners in our relationship and in life. It’s love. And love just has a way of surprising you.”

Dennis Quaid and Laura Savoie are married!

The 66-year-old actor and his 27-year-old bride were supposed to be married this past April in Hawaii, but the ceremony had to be cancelled due to Coronavirus.

On June 2, the couple traveled to Santa Barbara to a seaside resort and exchanged vows with only their pastor as their witness.

“It was beautiful,” Dennis said of his surprise, intimate wedding.

“Just looking into her eyes, she was the most stunning bride,” Dennis told People.

“Just getting to do life with someone who lives that way is inspiring for me. It changes my perspective and it brings so much joy to every day,” Laura added.

Dennis recently opened up about those questioning his and Laura‘s age gap. She’s 26, he is 65.

“I didn’t go out looking for an age gap or someone really younger than me. I met her at a business event and then the relationship developed. You have no control over who you fall in love with,” he shared.
