Reese Witherspoon is talking about her upcoming projects on Ellen!

The 43-year-old actress stopped by the show to promote the upcoming second season of Big Little Lies, which returns on HBO on June 9.

Also during the interview, Ellen brought up Legally Blonde 3 and Reese said that there’s definitely something in works.

“I loved paying that character and she’s so amazing,” Reese said about playing Elle Woods. “And I mean, if you guys want it, I guess I’ll do it!”

Reese Witherspoon flashes a smile for photographers while jogging while jogging on Sunday (March 31) in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old actress wore Tory Sport chevron leggings, a white tank top, pink sneakers, sunglasses, and a baseball cap for her run. Reese followed up her workout with a relaxing lunch with friends, to which she wore a blue striped dress and a large pink hat.

Last week, Reese joined celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Jason Momoa at Apple’s “It’s Showtime” event at Apple Park in Cupertino, Calif.

Reese is making the most of her downtime ahead of a jam-packed schedule working on big projects like Hulu’s Little Fires Everywhere, Disney’s live-action Tinkerbell movie, and Legally Blonde 3 on the horizon.

Luke Wilson is ready to return for the next installment of Legally Blonde!

The 47-year-old actor stopped by SiriusXM’s Radio Row on Friday (February 1) ahead of the 2019 Super Bowl to reveal that he’s totally down to reunite with Reese Witherspoon for Legally Blonde 3.

“I’d definitely be up for it,” Luke said before adding that he doesn’t know much about the film.

“All I’ve heard is the same thing everyone else has heard, it’s that they might be doing a Legally Blonde 3. But I can’t imagine anything that would be more fun,” Luke shared. “Reese played such a great character. I’d love to do a Legally Blonde 3.”

Back in June 2018, Reese confirmed that Legally Blonde 3 was officially in the works before it was announced that the film will be hitting theaters on Valentine’s Day 2020.

Luke starred as Elle Woods’ love interest Emmett Richmond in 2001′s Legally Blonde and 2003′s Legally Blonde 2: Red White, and Blonde.

Legally Blonde 3 is officially returning and, after Reese Witherspoon confirmed the news today, we now know the movie’s release date!

MGM just confirmed that Legally Blonde 3 will hit theaters on February 14, 2020, Deadline reports. Valentine’s Day!

No details about the plot have been released just yet, and we don’t have any information about any characters, besides Elle Woods, returning as of right now. We can only imagine we’ll be seeing some more familiar faces, though!

Legally Blonde 3 could be coming soon with Reese Witherspoon reprising her role as Elle Woods!

Deadline is reporting that the details are coming together quickly and they’re putting together the film’s original team to work on the third film. Writers of the first film, Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith and Karen McCullah, are in talks to write the new movie.

Legally Blonde hit theaters in 2001 and the sequel, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, hit theaters in 2003.

The plot is currently being kept under wraps, but will focus on “female empowerment.”

No word yet on other cast members joining. Legally Blonde also starred Luke Wilson, Selma Blair, Jennifer Coolidge, and more.
