The second season of the hit Netflix comedy series Dead to Me is going to be released next month!

It was just announced that season two will be released on May 8 and the teaser trailer has arrived.

SPOILER ALERT – The first season ended with Christina Applegate‘s character Jen killing Steve (James Marsden), who was the ex-fiance of Judy (Linda Cardellini). It looks like season two will be picking up right where things left off and they’re trying to make sure that no one ever knows what happened.

Christina received Best Actress nominations from the Emmys, Golden Globes, Critics’ Choice Awards, and the SAG Awards for her work on the show.

Tracee Ellis Ross wears a nose ring with a chain while attending the 2020 Mercedes-Benz Viewing Party for the Oscars on Sunday night (February 9) at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 47-year-old actress, who attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party that night in a gold dress, was joined at the party by black-ish co-star Anthony Anderson.

Jon Hamm was seen meeting up with Rashida Jones at the event, which was also attended by Linda Cardellini, Jane Lynch, and Martha Stewart.

The stars of Dead to Me are hard at work promoting their hit show!

James Marsden and Linda Cardellini attended the SAG nomination conversation to promote their show as awards season approaches on Sunday afternoon (November 10) at the Netflix Home Theater in Los Angeles.

Joining James and Linda at the conversation was Dead to Me show creator Liz Feldman.

Season one of Dead to Me is available for streaming on Netflix now.

Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini are back on the set of Dead to Me to film for season two on Tuesday (November 5) in Hermosa Beach, Calif. And the stars were joined on set by…James Marsden!

This is a major spoiler because at the end of season one, Christina‘s character, Jen Harding, shoots and, apparently kills, James‘ character, Steve Wood. It now looks like Steve will be back in some capacity in season two.

Joey King chats with fellow Emmy nominee Mandy Moore while attending Tory Burch and Glamour‘s celebration of the “women to watch” in television on Friday (September 20) at Tory Burch‘s Rodeo Drive flagship in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 20-year-old actress is nominated for Best Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for The Act while Mandy, 35, is up for Best Actress in a Drama Series for This Is Us.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s Rachel Brosnahan, who won an Emmy last year and is nominated again this year, was also there!

The cast and crew of the hit Netflix dark comedy Dead To Me are back to work!

Linda Cardellini confirmed work has begun on Dead To Me‘s second season with an Instagram post from the first table read, with Emmy-nominated co-star Christina Applegate sitting right next to her.

“Season 2 table read!! Here we go!,” Linda captioned with the post. “Can’t wait for you to see what Jen and Judy are up to 😲 @deadtome @netflix #christinaapplegate #jenandjudy ✨”
