10 contestants from last year‘s season of American Idol returned to the show on Monday (April 19) and one of them will earn a place in this year’s Top 10… and it seems like that person might be Louis Knight.
The 20-year-old singer was a frontrunner last year, but got cut after the Top 7 round.
Louis performed his original song “Maybe That” for the Comeback Round and he was the final performance of the night, which always helps set up a contestant for success.
The judges loved the performance and Louis revealed that he wrote the song while waiting to audition for the show last year in Washington, D.C.
We unfortunately will be waiting two weeks until we find out which contestant earns a spot in the Top 10, but fans will have a whole week to place their votes.
