Georgia native Lucas Till films his new series MacGyver in Atlanta, Georgia, but he has been so busy, he hasn’t had a chance to see any of his family!

“The show is called ‘MacGyver’ and I’ve got to be there every day,” the 26-year-old actor told the New York Post. “There are probably a lot of girls out there watching the show that I don’t have time to talk to.”

“He’s learning to cope without sleep and taking advantage of his trailer at lunchtime to take a nap,” series creator Peter Lenkov said of Lucas‘ dedication. “He’s learning to adjust his body chemistry. It’s exhausting as the lead of the show, but he’s gung-ho.”

The 26-year-old actor was busy spending an early morning on set of his new TV show MacGyver.

Lucas stars as the titular character who uses science to and creative thinking to help the government save lives.

The show is reboot of the show of the same name that aired back in the 1980s.

MacGyver airs on CBS on Fridays at 8pm.

“[Weatherly] had a fantastic journey with the show. The truth is there’s no shoes to fill, I’m definitely wearing my own,” Wilmer told EW. “I’m excited because as a new member of NCIS I get to bring a new energy to it, a different dynamic.”

Also in attendance at the panel were MacGyver stars Lucas Till and George Eads, Zoo‘s James Wolk, and American Gothic‘s Justin Chatwin.

Jennifer Lawrence channels Mystique on the brand new special edition of X-Men: Apocalypse covers of Entertainment Weekly.

The 25-year-old actress stars alongside her co-stars Oscar Isaac (Apocalypse), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Evan Peters (Quicksilver), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), James McAvoy (Professor Charles Xavier), Lucas Till (Havok), Alexandra Shipp (Storm), Ben Hardy (Angel), Olivia Munn (Psylocke), and Nicholas Hoult (Beast).

“I would love to come back,” Jennifer told the mag about possibly doing more movies. “You realize how important your year is, like how important three months out of your year is. I don’t know. I shouldn’t be that honest.”

X-Men: Apocalypse‘s Lucas Till has just landed a huge new part…he’ll be reprising the role of MacGyver in the CBS pilot!

The 25-year-old actor will take on the role originally made famous by Richard Dean Anderson in the re-imagining of the classic television series. Joshua Boone has also joined the show in a leading role

According to THR, the series will follow “20-something MacGyver (Till) as he gets recruited into a clandestine organization where he uses his knack for solving problems in unconventional ways to help prevent disasters from happening.”
