Maria Bello is joining the cast of the smash hit CBS series NCIS for the upcoming 15th season!

The Golden Globe-nominated actress will making her first appearance in the fourth episode of the upcoming season, which will premiere on Tuesday, September 26.

Maria is set to play an NCIS agent who was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the army and served two tours in Afghanistan. After joining NCIS, she built her reputation as the agency’s premier forensic psychologist. Unlike the other agents, she can second guess and challenge Gibbs, so there will be friction but also mutual respect. She is a positive force, mischievous and at times acerbic.

“We have always been big fans of Maria Bello‘s work and are excited to be introducing her as an agent who not only has a distinct talent, but also a unique relationship with Gibbs,” NCIS executive producers George Schenck and Frank Cardea said in a statement.

The 27-year-old actress and Ruby, 30, joined Aubrey Plaza, Mae Whitman, Gloria Steinem, Kathy Griffin, Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Melanie Griffith, Maggie Grace, Bethany Joy Lenz, Maureen McCormick, Maria Bello and her boyfriend Elijah Allan-Blitz at Equality Now’s 2016 Make Equality Reality Gala held on Monday (December 5) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“The ‘Make Equality a reality’ gala taught me a lot about Female genital Mutilation… 200 million women and girls have been affected by this and it’s still happening around the world today. It has to stop and I was proud to be in the company of some of the greats who have made it their life mission to accomplish this in this lifetime,” Ruby captioned with her Instagram post. “Thank you @udwende for bringing me to meet Gloria Allred and Gloria Steinem for an inspirational night. I’m blessed to work with a company like @urbandecaycosmetics who care so much about female empowerment and generously donated 100,000 dollars tonight to “Equality Now”.”

Chris Pine and Casey Affleck are two faces that you can expect to see popping up around awards season and they both added star-power to an event last night!

The guys walked the red carpet at the Rolex Awards for Enterprise’s 40th Anniversary Gala on Tuesday (November 15) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Also in attendance at the event were Michelle Monaghan, Don Cheadle with wife Bridgid Coulter, Maria Bello, and director James Cameron.

Casey is considered a front-runner for a Best Actor nomination this year for his work in Manchester By the Sea while Chris is getting buzz for his performance in Hell or High Water.

Teresa Palmer is all smiles while posing alongside her Light’s Out co-star Alexander DiPersia while attending the 2016 MTV Fandom Awards held at PETCO Park on Thursday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

That same day, the 30-year-old pregnant actress and Alexander were joined by their other cast mates Maria Bello and Gabriel Bateman at the WIRED Cafe after promoting Light’s Out at SiriusXM’s Entertainment Weekly Radio Show as part of 2016 Comic-Con.

“I’ve always been a big fan of the genre, but this movie felt very different in that it was about this family dynamic,” Teresa expressed about the film. “My mother suffers with schizophrenia – in the film and real life actually, too – and so for me it was very interesting to see the dynamic between all these family members and seeing the breakdown of their communication.”

“There’s such a dysfunction there that was very appealing to me,” Teresa added. “It was just lovely to delve into this world that felt very real. Aside from the supernatural element, it felt like a family drama, and we wanted to act it that way. We wanted to play these believable characters as realistically as possible.”
