Regina Hall Opens Up About Not Airing Craft Categories at Oscars 2022

Regina Hall gathers up with Zoe Renee and Mariama Diallo at the premiere of Master during the 2022 SXSW Conference and Festivals held at ZACH Theatre on Monday (March 14) in Austin, Texas.

The trio were also joined by co-star Noa Fisher at the screening event, just days after the premiere event in New York City.

In a new interview, Regina is opening up about her upcoming host duties at the 2022 Oscars, and those sidelined categories that many have issues with.

“They won’t be out of the show. We’ll get to see all of the winners. Obviously, we love – hair, make-up, sound, editing – there is not a category that is any less,” she shared with Deadline. “Film doesn’t work without any different person.”

Regina added, “It’s just a matter of time, because there’s so many complaints about the hours. Their wins will be celebrated during the actual live telecast.”
