Tom Hiddleston is sharing who he modeled his portrayal of Loki after!
The 43-year-old actor has played the God of Mischief in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2011. He has most recently starred in the Disney+ series Loki, which aired two seasons in 2021 and 2023.
While appearing at the Loki cast panel at PaleyFest 2024, Tom revealed the actors who inspired his MCU performance.

The 40-year-old MCU star joined her co-star Tom Hiddleston on the red carpet at the event.
Earlier that day, they also attended an FYC Emmy screening and Q&A with Owen Wilson, where she revealed another Marvel character that she would like her character Sylvie to share the screen with.

Chris Hemsworth is both one of Hollywood’s favorite “Chris” stars and a beloved member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe where he plays the God of Thunder.
In fact, the 40-year-old actor was so well cast as Thor that he was seemingly born into the role. However, that isn’t the case. He actually faced some stiff competition from a field of very talented actors.
He began playing the Norse god in 2011′s Thor and has suited up multiple times since then. The last time he yielded his iconic hammer was in 2022′s Thor: Love and Thunder, which saw him reunite with original franchise star Natalie Portman.
While he quite simply is Thor now, he actually competed with 10 other actors to land the role, including one successful actor who recently spoke out about their experience.
Interestingly, one of Chris‘ competitors wound up making his own MCU debut alongside Chris in Thor. Others have recalled suiting up for auditions. Chris himself admitted that he thought he knew was going to get the part at one time, and it was not himself but the star of another very successful franchise.

The first footage from the upcoming fourth Captain America movie was just shown at 2024 CinemaCon on Thursday (April 11) in Las Vegas.
Star Anthony Mackie took to the stage at the event, joining Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige to share a first look at Captain America: Brave New World.
In the clip, those in attendance were treated with seeing Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross, his MCU debut, taking over the role from the late William Hurt.

Disney shared an exclusive look at nine minutes of Deadpool & Wolverine during their CinemaCon panel on Thursday (April 11), and they teased some very exciting details!
The movie, out July 26, officially introduces Ryan Reynolds‘ Deadpool to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also brings Hugh Jackman‘s Wolverine back into the fold.
According to reviews of the footage shown during the convention, Deadpool & Wolverine will be as irreverent and delightfully crass as the first two movies in the saga with references to strippers and drugs.
The footage also revealed two big callbacks to classic MCU stars. In fact, two of the founding members of the Avengers appear to make cameos in the new movie!

The 40-year-old Thor actor took the stage at The Colosseum in Las Vegas, Nevada to promote his new movie Transformers: One.
The animated project premieres later this year and also stars Scarlett Johansson and Brian, who is a fellow MCU alum after starring in Eternals.
While she wasn’t able to attend, Scarlett introduced the pair to the stage, and they premiered the trailer for the audience, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
